After watching the movie through my fingers for another 20 minutes or so, I feel myself beginning to fall asleep. I lean against Grayson's shoulder, and I feel him stiffen and I tuck my feet up on the couch. He loosens up after shifting his shoulder. I can tell he's uncomfortable, but I can't seem to find the strength to move. My head feels too heavy and sleep slowly overcomes my exhausted body as I drift off into a dark, dreamless slumber.

I open my eyes slowly and look around. Slowly shifting my body out of its rough position and look around. All I see is an eternal space full of darkness, the only light coming from a small fold at the bottom of the curtain covering the window. I get up and trip over a heavy body laying next to me.

"What time is it?" Grayson's raspy voice cuts through the silence in the room.

"I-I I'm not s-sure." I stutter placing my hands on my hips to check for my phone. When I feel that I'm not wearing pants I gasp and mentally scold myself for being so stubborn. I hear some shuffling as Grayson gets up. I search the ground for the sweats I was given and quickly put them on just as a bright light sparks alive throughout the small room. Grayson looks at me for a second before turning away and stalking towards his room. I turn back to the couch and in my surprise, Alicia has now moved to cover the whole couch. I don't know how all three of us managed to sleep on one couch earlier. I pad across the room to a small storage closet and push the old sliding doors open. Unfortunately, there is nothing inside but a few books and some cleaning supplies, not the soft blankets I was hoping for. I groan out loud and leave the room to go back to mine.

When I get there, Katie is still asleep. I look at the little alarm clock Katie brought with her. The glow in the dark numbers glow a bright green, so I can see them in the dark. 6:44 am. That's a terrible time to wake up in the morning. My first class begins at 9, so I should wake up at 7:15 am so I have enough time to get ready. It's okay though I suppose. I want to look great on my first day of classes, and I will need the extra time. Grabbing a bottle of vanilla shampoo and a tub of hair mask, I leave the room.

The washrooms are easy to find, but I didn't use them yesterday since I was out basically the whole day. When I walk into the door, I'm surprise to find that there's a guy changing in the middle of the room. I yelp a little in surprise, and the guy looks up.

"Is there a problem?" He asks, straightening his back. He's actually much taller than I was led to believe, since he was bending down earlier.

"N-no, I'm sorry." I mutter, looking away from his half naked body. I thought there would be a girl's room and a boy's room, but I guess I was wrong.

After showering, for only two minutes or so, I get out. The water was cold and there was hair all over the ground. I even saw a half-eaten sandwich smashed in a corner. I gag and go over to the sink to wash my hands after touching the greasy shower curtain. I scrub for at least two minutes to get the oily substance off of my hands.

"Quite the germaphobe aren't you?" The same guy from earlier questions, making me jump in surprise.

"You sure are jumpy too." He notes. I glare at him and he looks away innocently. The boy-no man continues to shave his face, which I assume is what he was doing before. He still isn't wearing a shirt, and I see that he's actually not as muscular as he looks from afar. He notices me staring and smiles at me, two deep dimples piercing holes into his cheeks. I smile back at him timidly.

"I'm Tylen." He says cheerfully, grinning at me. What a strange name.

"My name's Adelaide."

"Well Adelaide, I think I'm going to get dressed now, so you can continue wasting the water if you like. I'll see you around." Tylen snorts and walks away. How rude of him. I turn off the water with my elbow and run my fingers through my wet hair. Taking my towel out of my bag, I wrap it around my hair and squeeze to get the water out of it. I don't like using blow dryers because it damages your hair, so I have to wake up early to dry it. I can't say the same about curling your hair though. I look much better with my hair curled. I admire my handiwork for a few minutes and check the time. 6:17 am. Flipping my hair over my shoulder, I spin on my heels and head towards the door. The guy from earlier finishes just as I do and walk out the door, letting it slam in my face. I huff and push the door open.

Tylen turns right and I follow him. Not in a creepy way of course, we just happen to be going in the same direction. We continue to walk for a while, with me following him. Surprisingly, he is going to the same hall as me. I think he senses that I'm following him but if he does, he doesn't acknowledge it. He turns suddenly and opens the door to the room next to mine.

"Why are you following me?" Tylen barks at me, making me look away. I look at him again, and his gaze seems to have softened.

"I'm not following you; my room just happens to be next to yours." Tylen's expression seems neutral. He shrugs and little and goes into his room. I enter my own room and grab the messenger bag I packed. I pad over to Katie's bed and shake her awake.

"Wake up!" I shout into her ear, making her roll over on to her side. I roll my eyes and leave the room. She'll wake up. I organise my bag while I wait. Katie gets up 5 minutes later. She grabs a little plastic bag and leaves the room without saying anything to me. I roll my eyes again, even though no one can see me.

Katie doesn't speak in the morning. She says she has to wait until she's fully awake. It's ironic really, because once some mystery boy called her in the morning and she spoke to him then. She still won't tell me about him though, but I'm not offended. Katie comes back faster than I thought she would and we both head out to the café we were at last time.

"Hey! Want would you like today?" The tiny girl behind the counter greets us cheerfully.

"Um, I'll have an iced coffee." I reply to her, stepping back so Katie can order.

"I'll get a no-fat black coffee with soy milk and caramel." Katie flips her sleek brown curls over her shoulder and pays for both of us.

"Katie! I could have paid for myself." I hiss, earning a glare and a middle finger from her. I roll my eyes and cross my arms. Grabbing both of our drinks, Katie brushes past a tall boy and gestures for me to follow her.

"Let's go by Sunny's apartment. I'll text him for the address. He says it's close to the campus, a 5-minute walk from here, that lucky bitch. He probably paid a million dollars to get a place this close." Katie laughs lightly and hooks her arm through mine.

Katie was right. Sunny's apartment is beautiful. It has a huge living room and an actual bathroom with a bathtub and a shower separately. After we get him, we swing by the café again to get Sunny an expresso. Then, we skip off to class.
