I haven't updated this book sense what? April 28th? I am so sorry for not updating! Hope you enjoy this ridiculously short chapter!
Ravenpaw stared at Barley, "I-I'm flattered... you're serious right?" He asked. He blinked the teardrops brimming his eyes.
Barley nodded, "Yes, Ravenpaw. You are the most amazing cats I have ever met. Sweet, considerate, gentle. You are gorgeous, inside and out. I would never lie to you, you made my life complete. It's a bit sappy but I truly feel this way." He explained sincerely. Passion was engulfing his voice.
"Oh, of course I will!" Ravenpaw exclaimed and his eyes lit up like lightbulbs as he nuzzled Barley's cheek gently. He was delighted to be Barley's mate. All of his anxiety and sadness melted away into nothing. His happiness was almost overwhelming."Sorry for getting so emotional earlier, I should have known it was a dream or nightmare." He muttered, looking thoughtful.
Barley purred, "It's fine how you reacted. I would be crying just as hard if I saw you dead, even if it isn't real. And maybe I should've told you sooner about my feelings." He looked quite amused at Ravenpaw's reply. Ravenpaw shrugged, "Maybe." He agreed softly.
Barley looked at Ravenpaw, "How about we mess with the sheep now?" He asked. Ravenpaw nodded, racing out of the barn with Barley dashing behind him.
