(The long night before)

(Writer)

"DILL RUN!!! NOW!!! GO GET HELP!!! NOW SON! GO!!!" Dylan then noticed his mom covered in blood and ran for the front door.

He didn't even hesitate.

Turning back he saw his mother being dragged back in the house and get beat up by his biological father's cousin. Dylan didn't know which way to run! He went to the only house that he knew better than his own, his babysitter Mandy's.

Dylan pounded on the door until Mandy's sole custodian, her grandmother Gerry answered.

"Dylan... is there a prob..."

"Foop" ... (how a silencer sounds on a high-powered weapon.)

Dylan saw the elderly woman collapse in front of his eyes. He realized something or someone shot her right between the eyes, and he started to scream and cry.

"Grandma? Who's at the... ehh!" Mandy inhaled in terror at the sight she was taking in.

(Mandy) saw the huge hole in the center of her beloved grandmother head with blood pooling underneath. She looked at the 7-year-old with her very own panic.

"Please help!" Dylan said then he heard it again...

"Foop! Foop!"

The glass vases shattered around Mandy's entryway as she grabbed the young boy and immediately ran for the back door with him in toe. They both ran to every neighbor they can think of, rather young newlyweds or elder couples that been married for years, and along the way, they all were murdered in cold blood as they opened their front doors.

Mandy came in aware of whatever home they ran to next for help, they would be shot dead where they stood. She then guided them both into the heavily wooded preserve that was just south of their neighborhood.

Out of breath, hunkered behind a large oak tree, they both rested.

"What's happening Dill? What's going on!" Mandy finally had the chance to speak while carnage was happening all around them.

"I... I don't know! My mom... someone's hurting my mom!"

"Who?" Mandy asked crying a river of tears for her grandmother and her friends.

"I don't know! I want my daddy; please can you help me get to my dad!" Dylan sobbed whilst dirty, tired, and full on stressed out. Mandy swallowed her own fear, being the strong young woman she was reared to be, and nodded to the frightened little boy. She knew that his "dad" is FBI. He could stop this horror.

"Alright Dill, come on! Just hang in there... we will be there in no..."

"Foop!"

Dylan watched his beloved and trusted babysitter freeze, eyes widen, spurt blood from her mouth... spraying him in the face and chest in the process, and fall to the ground like a sack of potatoes. She didn't even finish her sentence before she was dead.

Dylan was in a case of hysteria before he noticed the tall white-blond woman come from the shadows behind him. Unfortunately, the very tree they rested was the exact tree that Rose took refuge.

Rose casually walked up to the child, knelled down to him, and whispered...

"You're Markov's son right?" He finally looked into her cold eyes with malleolus, his small chest convulsing from running and anger.

"Cute. I suppose you liked your babysitter. She is... or was... a very pretty girl. But fortunately for you, I don't execute children! Now run along to your quote-unquote daddy's house before you be my first exception to the rule!" Rose said and Dylan was about to run.

"Oh but tell... huh-huh... you're 'daddy (She couldn't help but laugh at the notion of referring BB as his dad) companion that her fun time is over! Time to get back to work... okay?" She ruffled the frightened child's head with a crazy look on her face. Dylan nodded in compliance to Rose still full-on sobbing like a young scared 7-year-old would in a traumatic state.

"Now hurry, run along!" Rose said and Dylan ran away as his life varied on it.

(Dylan)

I've never ran so fast in my life! I need to get to my dad! My chest is burning, and I want some water. I hope my mommy's okay, but the scary tall woman shot all my friends and neighbors... so is my mommy dead too? Why! What did mommy do to make Jillian's cousin so mad? Why did the scary woman with the white hair shoot Mandy and her grandma! Who's daddy's friend that has to get back to work? My daddy will fix it! He'll make them pay!

After I don't know how long, I was sitting at my dad's front door, but I need to rest. I don't know... but I'm so sleepy. My dad is bigger than the police... so I feel safe. I always feel safe with my dad.

"I'll just close my eyes for a minute... yeah... close my..."

(W.N) Dylan has been running the entire night, and the early morning sun was about to rise.

(The next few hours)

I stirred in my sleep. I dreamed about Mandy. She was reading me the story of 'Winnie the Pooh', making silly voices. Then the woman with the white hair shot her in the back! She was laughing and Mandy was pushing me to run to... to my... dad...my dad...

"Daddy!" I woke from sleeping. I looked around and I was safe, but my legs hurt. Every time I tried to stand up; my legs made me fall back down. What did daddy call it when he worked out to long... fatigued... yeah that's it... fatigued, but I needed to him! I stood up to knock on the door even though it was difficult. I needed to show him that I'm a man, like he said I was when he moved out of the house, because he was tired of fighting with mommy, and I'm going to show him that I am!"

(BB)

I was reluctant to pull away from my bae to answer the door. The way she kissed me; I didn't want it to stop! But here I am... walking to the door... on a Sunday morning, upset because I wanted to have more than just food... with my girl... but... yeah.

I know it wasn't QB with Jr. She said she'd return him and the devil dog later in the evening! And I know it wasn't Cy, because he's probably drowning my son in computer crap and video games, which I kind of wish I could be a part of heh-heh.

Cy always had the latest versions of a variety of video games that sometimes wasn't even out yet!

So cool... uh humm... (clearing my throat)

Anyway, I opened the door and was shocked to see the person on the other end!

"Dill! Wha... what are you doing here?" I said alarmed at his state.

"Daddy!" He said and fell into my arms. He was crying, with ragged clothes... and... and... is that BLOOD! I immediately scooped him up and rushed him into the living room. Laying him on the couch, I gave him a once over before I started to bur-raided him with questions.

"WHAT HAPPENED!! Tell me... TELL ME! DILL!!! He seemed to have pass out in my arms. I grabbed him, pulling him close to me, scared of what he had to say. Was he hurt? And if so... who did it!

I felt my anger build up, and tears forming in the corners of my eyes! Sure I knew he's not my seed, but he's still my child! Raven came in to see what the fuss was all about with concern in her eyes.

"What's going on BB?" I turned to her shocked face.

"This... this is Dylan... my... my son." I saw her turn pale and swallow hard. I knew I had to explain later that he wasn't really mine, like Jr is but I made this boy a promise that I will always be his dad, in spite of!
