You are my star
The light that shines on my path
Illuminating, showing me things afar
You are the beacon that shows the way
On days when I am lost
Without a compass to lead me home
Like the light of the northern star
to sailors lost and forlorn
You direct me and show me the path
You are what gives me strength
when I fall deep in the depths
to rise above the storms
and like the rain after a heavy drought
You rejuvenate me and show me not to doubt
Into the deep gorge of the unknown
You urge me on
Without you the day loses its light
Without you the stars lose their radiance
Without you the smile loses its value
Without you all the joys of existence are incomplete;
A sham, A facade
To hide the grim visage of life
You are my star
My light,My hope
You are my joy and you are my home
Even if I do not know a lot
The ultimate I bear within my person
In the deep recesses of the heart
You are my light
and that's all I know
