Megha's POV.
I was going to the kitchen when someone called me.
"Ma'am."
"Yes, Rahul. What happened?" I asked him.
"Ma'am, someone is here to meet Ryan sir."
"But, Ryan is not at home na. Tell them to come afterwords."
"I told her maam but she was saying if, someone is there at home then to call that person."
"Wait!! What?? A girl?"
"Yes, maam a girl."
"Ok. Send her inside."
To say I was shocked would be an understatement.
A girl that to meet Ryan. O my God is he dating someone.
No not possible he will not at all date.
Sometimes I think my future daughter-in-law will be his company only.
I was busy in my thoughts that I didn't notice that a girl may I say a beautiful one was standing and staring with shock at the painting which we have of the famous painter Riya.
"Yes, how can I help you?" I went near her and asked her.
"Hello, actually I was looking for Ryan." She told me politely .
"You are his friend?" I asked her.
"No. We just meet at the cafe. Actually he left his files there I thought it must be really important so I came to give."
"Exactly!! That idiot son of mine can never be a friend of such a beautifull girl. Ooo my bad please sit dear. He is not home but never mind come come sit. What will you have?"
In my continuous rant I forgot only that I was questioning her not giving a chance to answer her.
"No, I'm fine. I have to leave mom must be waiting for me ."
She declined my offer politely which is missing these days among youngsters .
"But at least sit. By the way I didn't catch your name dear?"
"Ok. I'm Riya."
She sat down on the sofa and I took the opposite one of her.
"I'm Megha, Ryan's mom."
"Ooo! Nice to meet you maam."
"O come on call me aunty don't call me maam it makes me feel old or you can even call me mom I won't mind."
I said the last part under my breath because she is so beautiful as well as well mannered.
"Sorry, I didn't get you what did you said."
"Nothing dear you tell me.."
I was about to ask her about her about her family but got cut off by her phone ringing.
"Excuse me." She said and picked up her phone .
After finishing the call she said she was leaving which made me sad.
"Sorry, I have to go Aunty. And this is Ryan's file which he forgot." She told me standing up.
She gave me the file. I took it and kept it in the drawer.
"You are going ? You came now only."
"Yes, I have to go."
"Ok. But we will meet soon, Ok?" I asked her hopefully.
"Yes, of course. Pleasure to meet you."
"Pleasure is all mine. At last I got what I was searching."
I said the last part under my breath but she heard and asked me.
"Sorry, what you got?"
"Ooo dear nothing."
I said almost instantly. Because indeed I got to meet her.
I am going to make her my Ryan's bride.
"Ok. Bye Aunty."
"Ok. Bye we'll meet soon."
Waywaying at me she left the house and sat in her car and started driving back .
After she was gone out of the door I called my husband instantly.
"Hello, darling missed me this quickly."
He said as soon as he picked the call.
I rolled my eyes at this.
"Stop flirting Ashok."
"I'm flirting with my wife so no problem."
"Shut up and listen while coming call all my children except that workoholic son of yours." I told him.
"Why?? Some thing special darling." He enquired.
"Come home I'll tell you after that only. Now Bye."
"Ok. As you wish. Bye."
With that I hanged.
I'm waiting for tonight I can't wait for it I'll talk to everyone and then we will decide but I'll make it a yes only.
Because if we don't keep a gem like Riya then we will be domed.
After that I reluctantly went to my boutique which I own.
Evening.
Evening came really slow.
As the clock struck 5 I left the boutique telling my manager to close it.
I am really so excited.
After reaching home I changed and went in the kitchen to make tea and snacks for my family.
"Mom we are home." Both Zander and Xavier shouted.
"Stop shouting you idiots." Maya told them.
"Maya, when will Alice come?" I asked her.
"Mom she told me she'll come a little late." Maya replied to which i nodded my head.
"Good evening darling."Ashok came in the kitchen and greated me.
"Good evening."
"All of you go and get fresh." I told all of them.
After sometime all of them came and we all sat in the living room having our tea.
After sometime I decided to tell them.
"I have searched a bride for Ryan."
"What??"
They all screamed at the same time.
