I woke up the next day to someone holding me tight and I saw kairi but then all the memories came back and sooner of later I realized why I was cuddling kairi. I try to get up and go to the bathroom but I feel his grip tighten around me.

"where are you goinggg" he says extending the ending

"I have to pee" I say

"fine" he says and lets go. I get up and walk pout of his room to the bathroom but the door was locked.

"sorry kai ill be out in a minute" I heard from the other side of the door whom I assumed was maiya is I didn't say anything. I heard the sink turn on and then the door being opened.

"OLIVIA OMG" she said and I heard footsteps behind me

"hey what took you so long" he said walking out of the room rubbing his eye. Mayas expression changed once she saw kai

"you came over last night" she said

"yeah I was with kai" I say and kairi hugs me from behind and puts his head on my shoulder

"you didnt come say hi" she says

"it was a long night and it was 1 am" I say "can I go pee now please"

"sure" she says moving out of the way for me to go to the bathroom

later on I went home and surprisingly my parents were home. it was about 11:30 so I would've thought they were working

"hi mom" I say looking at her in the kitchen

"hi liv, your dad and I wanna talk to you in the living room" she says

"okay" I say walking to the living room a little worried about what they wanted to talk about

"so Olivia we haven't been the best parents these past couple of years and we wanted to change that" she says smiling at me

"so we want to take these next 3 days hanging out with you and just you" my mom says and I smile

"omg are you serious mom" I say

"yes" she says and hugs me "I love you liv" she says rocking back and forth in our hug

my parents were in the living room and I was in my room watching keeping up with the kardashians which was pretty fun until I heard my phone start ringing and it said incoming FaceTime call from kairi 💞 and I smiled like a lot, so I paused my show and answered the call

"hi kai" I say

"hi olive" he says and giggles "so whatcha up to" he asks

"nothing, just watching tv" I say

"can I come over" he ask

"lemme go ask mama" I say getting up with my phone to my mom "hey mom say hi to kai"

"oh hi kairi! omg you are getting so big" she says into the phone

"yeah I guess you could say that" he says

"well mama can kairi come over for a little bit?" I ask her

"of course!" she says

"he's the only boy ill allow in my house" my dad says and I hear kairi say yesss

"what about my other friends" I ask

"I guess ill allow them" he says "but they arent coming over right"

"nope just kairi" I say looking at him being weird and walk back upstairs into my room

"I guess you can come over" I say smiling

"yay!" he says grabbing his shoes and putting them on

"hurry up and get here, im gonna hang up okay?" I say

"okay bye olive" he says and I hang up on him and smile

life finally felt better because I had my best friend with me
