"Ganda talaga dito sa Paris! Salamat talaga Shai! Jusko po nafe-feel ko yung pagiging rich kid natin ah?!" sigaw ni Elay sa sobrang tuwa.
I finally made it! It's been years and years since I made this dream to be here in the City of Love. And especially yung makita mo yung Eiffel tower ng malapitan at kasama ang kaibigan mo na hanggang sa eroplano nagpaplano na ng mga gagawin pag lapag dito.
"Gaga ka tigilan mo na yang pagtitili mo jan sige ka iwan kita dito, kanina ka pa sa eroplano tyaka pinagtitinginan kana oh" sabi ko habang tinitingnan sya na panay selfie.
"Nuka ba! Hayaan mo na! Bakit? Sino ba sila? Jusme minsan na nga lang tayo makapunta sulitin na natin" saka naman nya ako kinalabit para mag picture.
"Kala ko ba sa Japan gusto mo? Tas deretso ka ng Korea? Ba't bigla ata tayong nagpalit ng destination sis?" Sabi nya na hindi man lang ako binalingan ng tingin.
"Suggestion nya eh... I just want to fullfil that promise" sagot ko naman.
He once told me the story of this lovely place. He even told me that it's okay to go overseas and enjoy the life of other people's culture. And he also said that it feels good to have memories not only in your own country and hometown but also around the world.
"YOLO! you only live once ika nga diba? So bakit ka magiistay sa isang lugar lang?! Enjoy lang Hershey! And don't let your parents get into your dreams..."
Exactly he's words... that jerk.
"Hoy! Lost in Dreamland teh? Tara! Sayang naman ih! Enjoy!" She said as she drags me nearer the Eiffel tower.
"Basta promise me one thing Elaine, buy my book once we're done here!"
