-December-
Bleary doe eyes opened, the deep chocolate brown orbs big and shiny. They blinked a few times as the little body sat up, rubbing his eyes with his little fists. Taehyung turned slightly, sleepy eyes looking at the thin trail of light peeking through the curtains. He smiled lightly, eyes still heavy with sleep.
His small body was covered with a thick baby blue blanket, two warm bodies pressed up against him from each side. Turning to his right, he cuddled against Namjoon, burying his face in the older's chest as his small hands clutched the soft fabric of the older's T-shirt. It was still fairly early in the morning, the Sun not yet up. He shuffled a bit, sleep gone from his eyes and energy brimming from his body.
A large hand held him in place as he looked up, eyes meeting Namjoon's. The older smiled at him, sitting up slightly as he yawned. "Appa." Taehyung whispered, eyes darting towards Seokjin who was still asleep. The demon's eyes followed as he got up, picking the younger up. "Let's go to the other room." He said softly as the duo went into the living room.
Taehyung slid down from Namjoon's arms, small feet touching the cold floor. He waddled over to the curtains that covered a large glass window, slightly pushing them away as he stared outside. The demon followed after him, getting down on his knees as he stood next to his son, watching the weather outside.
Soft, feathery light snowflakes danced slowly as they descended down, beautifying the last day of the year. Taehyung's eyes were wide in wonder, tiny hands and nose pressed up against the glass. Namjoon chuckled as he picked up the younger's fluffy socks from the table near him. He kept a hand over the child's back, warmth seeping into the little body.
"It's called snow, baby." He said as he watched the younger turn to look at him as he pouted. "Sow... Sn... Swo..." Taehyung spoke, trying to speak the word. Smiling widely, Namjoon spoke up again. "S-no-w." He said slowly, dragging out each syllable as Taehyung copied after him.
"Sno..." He said in a sing song voice, pressing his hands back against the glass. "Eat?"
The older laughed as he shook his head. "No, Tae. You don't eat it." He bent forward, helping the young entity wear his socks. "It means that it's very cold outside and we shouldn't walk around without our fuzzy socks." He explained as he booped Taehyung's nose, making the younger giggle cutely. The duo sat together in the living room, the heating turned on to the maximum as they sat on the floor, Taehyung happily building a tower with his blocks. He would babble about nothing and everything and Namjoon listened to him, never interrupting his son's train of thoughts.
Seokjin woke up a couple minutes later, joining the two as they spent their day lazing around in the cold weather. The two year old had abandoned his blocks for his stuffed koala, having a deep conversation with the baby blue animal plushie. He loved plushie with all his heart, always keeping it beside him and cuddling it in his sleep. He had even asked the two to name the bear, deciding on the name 'Koya'.
Seokjin felt a tug on his sweatpants as he looked down, spotting big brown does eyes filled with tears. He immediately crouched down, holding Taehyung's face in his palms as he asked the younger. "Taetae, what's wrong?" His voice was soft.
