A few days later
I didn't speak a lot to my mom after that conversation. Everything that needed to be said was said at least that was what i thought.
I had been able to let myself rest a lot more after my mom kinda apologised. The pain in my stomach was almost gone which was good.
I still wasn't allowed to do a lot of heavy exercise but i also didn't have to stay in bed all day.
I was laying on a chair next to the pool where i enjoyed the sun.
My mom layed next to me in shade. She didn't have a lot energy today but she insisted on being outside.
Luke was learning Jack how to swim in the pool.
Jack wasn't really a fast learner when it came to swimming because he still looked liked he drowning. But atleast he was trying.
After a while Luke ran inside with Jack to get some food leaving my alone with my mom.
"Mabye his life would be better if you where the one that was sick." She said as she looked at Jack.
"You can't say stuff like that." I said shocked.
She slowly turned her head to me. "Why not? Can't you see how happy he is right now?"
"Damm you really said fuck your apology didn't you?"
"Please don't use that language with me. I'm just saying that Jack would be happier if i still would be around, that's all."
"Yeah by me disappearing."
She sighed. "Well why don't you? You keep making everything bigger than it is. I can't even speak anymore or I'm offending you.
I stood up and walked to the door. I didn't want to hear an other word from her.
"Good, walk away like you always do." She yelled at me.
"I hope that you'll be happy in hell." I said with tears in my eyes before slammed the door to the garden shut.
"What's wrong?" Luke asked worried when i passed him.
"Nothing." I said angry to him as stormed upstairs.
I fell down on my bed and let the tears flow. How could she say such a thing? I had really thought that her last days would be nice ones like the one we had a few days ago.
There was a soft knock on the door before it slowy opened.
"Are you okay?" Luke aksed softly as he sat down next to me on bed.
I shook my head.
"What's going on?" He asked as he gently rubbed my back.
"Too much." I said through my tears.
"Why can't my mom just die already?"
He froze for a second. "Why would say such a thing?"
"Because I'm sick of waiting for her to die. I want i to be over." I yelled to him.
My chest started to fell thight. I sat up but it didn't help.
"Becky you need to calm down. Focus on your breathing." Luke said worried.
I shook my head. "Leave." I said to him out of breath.
He stood up from the bed but didn't leave. He knew that i just wanted some space.
I layed down on my bed and closed my eyes as i focused on my breathing.
After what felt like forever the pain in my chest had left.
