Remi Mae's POV

*A couple day later*

Using my hands to hold me up against the sink I looked at the light scar that had started on my neck.

Today was the day that everything was set to change.

Devilynn would no longer be leader, and I would no longer be co-leader.

Hell we wouldn't even be remotely close to being regular gang members until we earned his so called 'respect'.

Everything I had ran away from before, everything all of us had run away from was just rushing right back at us.

Everything we've known for the past 5 years is all getting ripped from us in a blink of an eye.

It was like the gods wanted to punish us for doing good.

Sighing, I slowly made my way to my closet.

Quickly dressing, I pulled out all the bags I had packed to move into the Phoenixes mansion.

Setting them on my bed, I looked around my room.

As I was looking around, a knock was heard at my door.

Spinning around I seen Cindy walking in with tears running down her face.

Quickly walking over to her, I pulled her into my embrace, burying my head in to her neck.

She rubbed a hand through my hair and over my back.

" Remi honey, you don't have to do this. None of you do." She whispered in my ear.

I lifted my head.

" Yes we do. We have nothing left."

" You guys do. You have your lives. You can leave all this behind and start new, make better of yourselves."

I shook my head.

" This one thing does not define who we are and what we've done. We'll find a way out, and back here in not time."

Just as she went to say something a tall buff man walked in.

" It's time for you to leave." He said.

I looked back at him.

" Okay."

I leaned in giving Cindy one last hug before grabbing my bags.

The guy walked over taking them from my hands leading me towards the door.

Before walking out I looked back at Cindy.

" Thank you. For everything."

Walking into the mansion, Matrix, the leader guided us to the basement.

Throwing open the doors, he walked us into a room that was lined with beds, it reminded me of my time at Juvie.

We all stayed in one big room, lined with bunks.

Looking around, I ignored everything Matrix had said after walking in.

The only thing on my mind was the hell that we were about to experience.

Matrix finally walked out, closing the doors behind him.

Making my way past some of the girls, I found a bed that rested near the doors, but was in the corner.

Setting my bags down on the floor, I plopped down putting my hands in between my knees.

I wanted to scream and cry, but I couldn't because then I wouldn't be able to control it.
