                                                                            Remi Mae's POV

"I'm going to get you!" I screamed chasing after Ainsley.

After playing on the swings for a while, she decided she wanted to play tag.

And boy do I regret saying yes.

She was the fastest kid I've ever met.

We've ran around a big circle about 6 times, just me trying to catch her.

Pumping my arms to help quicken my pace, I finally caught up Ainsley.

Thank god. I thought I was going to pass out.

Grabbing her arm, I spun her around picking up and spinning her in big circle before we crashed to the floor laying next to one another.

She giggled trying to catch her breath.

" Your slow."

I looked over to her.

" I'm not slow, your just fast."

She rolled her little eyes.

As we laid here catching out breath we both looked up at the blue sky that was lined with different shaped fluffy clouds.

" That one reminds me of my mommy." Ainsley said pointing to a cloud that was shaped like a bunny.

" How come?"

" Because before bedtime every night she used to read me a bed time story about bunnies."

I smiled.

" You must miss her a lot?"

She shrugged.

" I don't really remember a lot of her. I just remember how pretty she was."

I sat up looking down at her.

" She may not be in here." I said pointing to her head. " But she'll always be in here." I pointed to her heart.

She sat up with a small smile.

" That's what Matrix always used to tell me."

" Smart guy."

She shook her head.

" Do you miss your mommy and daddy?"

" I miss my mom, but not my dad. He's a pretty mean person."

" Oh."

" Is he why it's a scary house."

I nodded.

" Yep. That's why I'm going to save my little sister from there. So he can't be mean to her."

" Yeah, beat him up."

I chuckled.

" I will."

As we sat looking ahead of us I heard her tummy start to rumble.

I looked over at her.

" Seems like someone's a little hungry."

" Yeah. Can we get a snack?"

I shook my head. " Sure. "

Standing up I dusted off my pants, holding out a hand for her to take.

Grabbing my hand she jumped up off of the ground.

I looked between the little house, and the big one.
