Nothing Makes A Man So Adventurous As An Empty Pocket

A/N: This episode made me laugh so hard for some reason. It was so good. I love seeing Daisuke so soft and cute. Also l loved seeing him do pesant things, like grocery shop and chop potatoes, hehehe. Also I lied, again, I uploaded sooner than intended but maybe I'll have another chapter up soon.

Early in the morning, Izanami groaned and the sudden ringing of her telephone. "Hello?" A familiar feminine voice yelled into her ear. "Suzue, call down, please... No, he isn't with me... What do you mean he just- Okay, okay calm down... I'll let you know if I hear anything from him. Ah- I gotta go, my brother is calling, yeah, YES! SUZUE I WILL CALL!" Izanami groaned and hung up the phone to pick up another call, "THIS BETTER BE GOOD!" She yelled into her brother's ear, Haru pulled the phone away from his ear and sighed. "Sorry to bother you on your day off, but I need you to help me... You think you could come to the children's park in district three?" Something soft head-butted her temple, Keigo, the cat she had spontaneously adopted was trying to get a hold of her attention. Izanami calmed down when she stretched between its ears, "Give me twenty minutes, I'll be there soon." Her brother thanked her through the phone and hung up. She looked at her furry friends and picked him up, his legs danging over her lap as it pawed at her face when she tried giving him kisses, "I'm guessing you want food right? And not attention." The feline meowed and head-butted her nose before wiggling out of her grasp. "I wonder where Daisuke ran off to." Izanami picked up her phone and dialed his number, "What is it?" He answered, seeming a bit annoyed. "Woah there Mr.Millionaire, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today..."  He sighed into the phone, "Correction, I just woke up on the wrong bed in the wrong house. Is there something important you need to tell me?" Izanami's forehead irked a vain, he was being more sassier than usual, "Your dear relative woke me up this morning screaming that you've run away from home, what up with that?" Even though she couldn't see him, she could feel the eye roll. "Suzue is over exaggerating, please ignore her and don't tell her that you called."

"I may have promised that I would do otherwise.... But anywho, if you're so willing to run away just meet my brother at the kid's park in district three, he says he needs some help so I bet another helping hand won't hurt." Daisuke hummed in agreement and said something incoherent before hanging up. "So respectful." She said sarcastically to herself before rushing to get ready.

Izanami leaned back on the bench beside her brother, taking in the sun that was coating her skin. She pulled down the sleeves of her  and looked at the little boy who wandered around. "Did he say when he'd be here?" Haru asked his sister but she shook her head, "I just told him to meet us here and he hung up, fair warning, he has an attitude today." Her brother rolled his eyes, "When does he not have an attitude?" Izanami scoffed, "He only has an attitude with you. I called him today and now he has an attitude with me so it's going to be worse than you probably think it is."  While Haru closed his eyes and crossed his arms, facing away from his sister, Kambe began to walk towards them. He wore a casual outfit, no longer in his suit but only dress pants, a vest to match and a white button-down. Izanami raised a brow, the first thing she noticed was that his earring was missing. "What do you need?" He asked the two, startling Haru. "Oh sorry about this, especially since it's your day off." Daisuke glared impatiently at him, "Hurry up and get to the point." Izanami sighed and stood up, passing by both men to stand behind the child, kicking the bottom of his red booted shoes. "Oi, he's here." The green-eyed boy looked up at her before holding up a hand before being thrown up by her as she put him steady on his feet. Izanami watched from afar as the kid tricked Daisuke the same way he did them.
