"What the fuck?" Stanley whispers to himself as he lays in the bed.

A photo of Bill and Patty pops up on his phone. She kisses his cheek. He smiles brightly.

He swipes to the left. A video fo then dancing around to a song. They grip each other's hands as they jump side to side. Yelling the lyrics.

Oh, I'm in paradise
Show me heart break a thousand times. I don't care to be or be caught without sweet misery by my side.

Tears of anger weld up in his eyes.

Wide awake and paper thin
Played to anything that's televised

The vide continues to play. The tears start to run down his temples. They turn into tears of sadness.

His small whimpers turn to slight sobs as he continues to watch the video

It's safe to say my ignorance stayed a bliss is why

He wraps his arms around her, pulling her closer.

He kisses her lips slowly. They smile at each other before he kisses her forehead.

The video starts to replay as he listens to the lyrics. Of his favorite song.

His vision blurs as his whimpers become louder.

Two years later.

"Richie I'm completely fine. I got the job." "Fuck yeah! Let's celebrate." Richie hugs him tightly, picking him up.

"Alcohol?" "Yup." The two chuckled as he lets him down. "You and alcohol huh?" "Yes, Staniel." He chuckles. "You only have a year left why don't you wait?"

"I've drank my whole life. Why should I wait now?" "You're right." Eddie lays smiling at the two. "Want some Eds?" "No...I'm too tired." Beverly nods as she snuggles up to him.

Stanley has gotten a job he's wanted for a year. It's not exciting like Richie would've thought. But being an accountant is something he's wanted to do for the past couple of months. Meaning he would have to move.

All the losers decided they want to go with him. They don't have to, they want to.

A couple of drinks later the two are listening to music while Eddie records. Mike and Ben play different games, slap hands, Mario cart, Wii sports. You name it. The two are best friends and love video games.

One song comes on.

But couldn't leave my mouth
Does it come as a surprise?
Language of averted eyes
Silence is what I do best

The two start to jump up and down. Very much intoxicated.

Still I hear it all
Wasting time around my head
So I talk to myself instead

Stanley giggles loudly. His nose scrunches. Richie smiles, seeing his best friend happy once again.

Sitting out the weekend
Couldn't do it again
Say you want it right now
But I wouldn't know how
It's something that I can't do

Eddie smiles seeing Richie in general. The two have been dating for about two years. Richie has never been more happy.

Then what am I supposed to?

The two hug tightly while laughing. Anyone could probably tell they're intoxicated

Quite the people pleaser
If only I could please her

The song finishing out as Richie kisses Eddie softly. Stanley lays down, almost instantly falling asleep.
