Period.

Pain washed over you when you got out of the shower. You quickly recognized the excruciating pain to be that of your period. When you got your period you would literally double over due to cramp pains. Sometimes they were so bad that you would blackout for a minute. It seemed like an over-exaggeration but it was the honest truth. You thanked god that you had today off. You couldn't handle period cramps while trying to profile. You worked at the FBI in the Behavioral Analysis Unit, aka BAU.

You grabbed a pad and put it on. You had put on leggings and a nice shirt and you were too lazy and in pain to change. You made your way into your bedroom and collapsed on the bed. You had decided right then and there that you were not moving at all that day. Were you over reacting? Maybe. Did you give a fuck? No.

Your phone began ringing next to you and you groaned. The ringing gave you a headache. You read the screen, seeing that it was your colleague and best friend Spencer Reid. He was probably calling to tell you something random, you loved him to death but today was not the day. You answered the phone trying not to sound like a total bitch.

"Hello?" you grumbled.

"Oh my gosh Y/N did you know that a quarter of the bones in your body are located in your feet?" Spencer rattled off excitedly. You couldn't help but smile. He was so cute when he was excited.

"Hey Spence, that's really cool and I really love you. I love you so much, you know that. But today isn't a good day for me. I'll talk to you later okay?" you said. You felt bad but all you wanted to do was sleep.

"Okay, is everything okay?" he questioned.

"Yeah Spence, everything is fine. I'll talk to you later. Have a good day." you said hanging up. You threw your phone on the bed beside you and found a Ted Bundy documentary on television. It took all of 5 minutes for you to pass out. You were so tired. About an hour and a half later you woke up to someone ringing your doorbell. With a loud groan, you rolled over. Your cramps and headache had peaked, and you were NOT getting up.

"Whoever you are come in. If you plan on killing me, do me a favor and please make it quick." you yelled, grabbing your head. Yelling made your headache worse. You heard your front door open and close, a smiling Spencer appearing in your room moments later. He came bearing lots of bags.

"Spence what are you doing here?" you questioned, sitting up and wincing at the pain.

"You almost never turn down hearing my facts and I noticed you had started to become moody lately. I had just assumed that you were beginning to menstrate, and the phone call was confirmation. After you hung up I decided that I wanted to cheer you up so I went to the store and bought you some stuff." Spencer said, smiling even bigger. You couldn't contain the smile that had spread across your face now. He was so sweet. Spencer flopped the bags on your bed and began pulling out the items that he had purchased. There were hot chips, pickles, ice cream, chocolate, a few bottles of wine, movies, heating pads for cramps, ibuprofen, one of his shirts, and the exact brand of pads and tampons that you used.

"Spence, how did you know the exact brands of pads and tampons that I used?" you asked, trying to rake your memory for anytime you had shown him.

"I've seen the boxes before when I was over. I couldn't forget it because ya know. I have my eidetic memory." he giggled, awkwardly scratching the back of his neck.

"Spencer thank you so much. This means so much to me. I was determined that I wasn't going to get out of bed at all today." you giggled, pulling the covers off of you. Spencer eyed your clothes, seeing that they were a bit too fancy for staying home.
