(TW: This will contain some topics such as depression, and suicidal thoughts. I am also going to be trying a new writing style for this, similar to the style I used in my Criminal Minds Imagines. There will be a few different scenes combined into this story so I can fit everything in. Let me know what you think and enjoy!! <3)

Flashback

I took one final look in the mirror at myself, smiling in approval. My dad, Jason Gideon and I were having dinner with one of his new work buddies. My dad worked at the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU for short). He was rather fond of this new friend of his and told me that he was in my age range.

I had decided to dress up a bit and make a good impression. I had on a black tank top with a brown jacket over it. I paired some black ripped skinny jeans and black heeled booties with it. I had my hair straightened and I had on natural makeup.

I had heard the doorbell and an unfamiliar voice so I knew that his friend must have been here. I took a deep breath before exiting my room and heading down the stairs. The clicking that my heels made caused both of their heads to snap in my direction. Looking up I saw the most handsome man I had ever seen in my life looking at me.

"Ahh, there she is! Spencer this is Y/N, my daughter." Gideon said, pulling me into a side hug. I smiled at the man I now knew was named Spencer.

"I'm Doctor Spencer Reid, it's very nice to meet you. I've heard a lot about you from your dad." He said, smiling at me.

"It's nice to meet you, Doctor. Now you boys go make yourself comfortable and I'll cook." I smiled. They both nodded, seating themselves at the kitchen table and talking about work.

I turned to the kitchen, grabbing the steak that my dad insisted I cook. I was mainly my dad's live-in maid and cook. I didn't mind. He gave me money and I had a job at a law firm so I was doing pretty well financially.

I poured 3 glasses of wine, handing the guys theirs.

"Thank you pumpkin." My dad said, kissing my head. I smiled.

"Thank you, Miss Gideon." Spencer said.

"Spencer you can call me Y/N. My dad won't survive if we only call each other fancy titles." I giggled. He smiled, sipping his wine.

I returned to my cooking, starting to prepare the potatoes and broccoli. Once everything was cooking, I started to prep dessert which was strawberry parfaits. They were my dad's favorite and I loved making them.

I glanced up and saw that Spencer was staring at me. When I noticed he quickly looked away and began blushing. Did he think that I was as attractive as I thought he was? I pushed the thought to the side as I continued to work on dinner.

Half an hour later I was serving the guys. We each had a small salad, garlic butter steak, a baked potato, and broccoli. For drinks, we had wine and water. I sat down and began to eat my own food.

"So Y/N your dad tells me that you work at a law firm?" Spencer asked, the conversation changing to include me.

"Yeah, I work at Smith and Johnson law firm. I'm a paralegal so I help prepare for trials and things. It pays well and I really like it." I smiled, sipping my water.

"Gideon why doesn't she just work with us?" Spencer asked. I couldn't tell if he was joking or not, but I ignored it.

"Spencer is a genius Y/N. Like the kid is smart." My dad began and I smiled, turning my attention to Spencer who was now blushing.
