Lucas hissed, closing his eyes wishing all this to be a dream.

But when he opened his eyes, he knew there was little time to continue believing the lies. "But I wasn't going to say that. I was going to say, I know this place better than anyone here because, I was your father's advisor. I was the King's most trusted man and am till today."

Grace blinked and to her surprise, everyone else did too. Finally, she wasn't alone at being clueless. "Who's father?" She asked again, thinking maybe she did mishear it.

"Yours, Grace." Malick bluntly said instead while Lucas focused on opening the door and ushering them inside.

"But there's no time to explain, we'll discuss it later. Come on..." he led the shocked team to the side of the room that looked like an office filled with rows and rows of books. He placed his hands on the wall, moving them along, searching for some kind of abnormal design.

When his fingers bumped into something, he pushed on it, making that part of the wall easily move and then pulled the side of it out. With a click, a hidden door popped out and opened itself, inviting them in. Once it was fully open, Lucas dusted his hands on his trousers before stepping into the dark path. When he noticed that no one was following him, he turned around glaring at everyone.

"Come on now, we don't have all day," he whispered and walked in. The team followed and Fred closed the door behind him incase someone walks in on them. Soon, the quiet and heated tunnel turned into a more cool and noisy place.

The sounds of people talking and shuffling was heard before everything settled down again and only one voice was echoing through the walls.

"I can't believe I'm going to do this, but here goes nothing." Lucas talked to himself before closing his eyes. No one said anything, and couldn't really do anything. The sound of the man speaking was too loud to make out the words and the place was starting to get cooler by the minute. Suddenly, Lucas opened his eyes, making them turn black and back to his brown color.

Anne yelped, taken off guard and Lucas shunned her quickly. "I was able to mind-link Luke and he's doing his part. He hates my guts, but I'm sure he'll help knowing that he loves his parents just as much as I do. He has an old debt to pay anyways and he promised me that this would work. We're near the air-conditioners, kind of why it's cold but it's the best place to eavesdrop."

And just like that, the voices from the meeting room was soundly understandable and the team listened in.

"We can't just continue to attack everyone my King." A feminine voice spoke before a grunt was heard.

"Of course we can, we'd be able to fight until we get even land we can. But first, we'd need to make sure that everyone alive in this planet knows that I'm The King and nothing will change until I die. Which by the way, will never happen. And if it does, then it would be after I find my mate and fill her with my pups."
