Alex heard the sound of a gun hitting flesh and turned around to see Eagle, his unit's sharpshooter, with a bullet in his ribs. Alex yelled for Snake as he continued taking the guards surrounding them down.
Snake rushed to the injured soldier and examined him before saying. "He's loosing blood! We've gotta get him to hospital!"
The unit rushed to a hospital and Eagle was wheeled off.
An hour later a doctor came and said, "He's stable, but in critical condition." Before walking off.
After the doctor left, Alex did something he hadn't done since Jack's death. He cried.
