When we were kids
We used to blive that
There are monsters under our beds,
Or in our closets.
We used to belive in creatures with long nails
And red eyes.
We used to belive in the so scarry "Boogyman".
We used to belive in ghosts,
And demons that could haunt us.
But later growing up, we realised that
The only monsters that exist are humans.
And we're facing them every day.
We never know who is a monster or not.
We just see their disguises.
We realised that the only ghosts that exist
Are the ghost from our past,
People or memories that haunt us.
And the demons?
The only demons that exist are the ones
That live inside our heads,
We're fighting them every day.
You never know someone's demons
Or someone's ghosts.
We only know that some of us,
Are losing this battles.
