I don't know if this is what you had in mind, but I felt like the idea would make a perfect slightly angsty, but funny story.

Roman got up off the ground. He hurt, but at least the school day was over. He sighed. Why can't they just leave me alone? He limped over to his bag. His leg hurt and sadly he had to talk to his brother and friends so they wouldn't worry. He quickly came up with an excuse to why he was limping.

He walked to the front of the building where his friends and brother were. They noticed him and Patton happily called out, "Hey kidd–whoa! Are you okay? What happened? Why are you limping? Did you get hurt?" Patton was panicking at this point.

He saw everyone's worried faces. He put on his best embarrassed smile and spoke, "I, ever so prince like, decided to be unique and use the stairs as a slide."

"So you fell down the stairs?" Virgil asked.

"I fell in a princely manner, but yeah. I, uh, fell down the stairs." Everyone seemed to buy it. Remus jumped into the conversation, "And here I thought my brother finally had the courage to f–" Janus quickly clamped a hand over his mouth and sighed, "You always have to ruin the moment, don't you." He removed his hand from Remus's mouth. "That's the point Jan. Someone has to spice up your boring conversation." He swung his arm around Janus's shoulder. The two had been dating for three months now.

Patton piped up, "How about we have a sleepover tonight?" Everyone looked at Patton, "Don't you think we should have a little more time to prepare," Virgil said, looking skeptical. Remus jumped in, "I can ask my parents to see if they are okay with it and see if you can come over." He pulled out his phone and started texting. Janus spoke next, "I'll happily come, my parents are on a business trip and don't mind me hanging with friends." Logan agreed next, "My schedule is open for tonight, I'll text my parents and tell them." Virgil sighed, "Fine, I'll call and ask my dads." He pulled out his phone and walked a bit away. After a minute he came back, "They are fine with it." Remus smiled and said, "You guys can come over, my parents are fine with it." Patton squealed with delight. "I'm so happy to be having a sleep over with all my friends."

Roman awkwardly spoke up, "Um, actually," everyone looked at him, "The play is next Friday, so it's hell week (is my school the only school that has this), so I probably won't be home until late." Everyone looked slightly disappointed. Patton replied, "That's alright kiddo, besides, you'll be back even though it will be late. Its also Friday, so we can hangout tomorrow." Everyone agreed and seemed okay with this plan. Roman left to go to theatre.

POV is Virgil

Everyone had finally showed up. They agreed on 7:00. They watched a movie. After the movie was over, they decided to play truth or dare. It was pretty normal, do you have a crush, what was the stupidest thing you have ever done, etc. Well, it was normal until Remus decided to be strange and, well, you know, Remus.

"So Virgil, truth or dare?"

"Dare."

"I dare you to steal my brother's new shoes. He ordered them and the showed up while we were at school. They are in his closet."
