The Lion's Den

I stood there in shock as blue and red strobe lights lit the house. There were women everywhere topless and some with no clothes at all. Jax sits in the middle of the room with Carly next to him. I turn to Tom. "What fuck is this place." I say and he pulls me close to whisper in my ear. "This where his girls come after they are marked." Tom pulls me hard in front of Jax. "Ah Quinn nice for you to join us. I have been dying to see what's under that dress." Jax says placing his hand on my exposed leg moving up. Tom pulls me back and looks at the side of my face. "This one is mine, Jax." He says pulling me in front of him he grabs my hair and pulls my neck to the side to show my mark. Jax smiles and puts his arm around Carly. "See Carly we got you a friend." Jax says to her she looks at me with regret. "Excuse me but I have some business to take care of." Tom says and pulls me behind him. He finally releases me when we get to the huge kitchen. He motions me to get in the closet. "What the hell! How old are these girls?" I say shocked. Tom pulls out his gun and checks it. "Do you have your gun?" I look at him in disbelief. "You think I wouldn't bring my gun?" I say pulling it out. He grabs it quickly and hides under some towels in the closet. "Your job is to get names and ages. Make sure you get it on tape. If you need your gun it's here but we need to be as discrete as possible. He looks at me and nods then opens the door to Carly standing outside the door. Tom pushes past her Carly holds her arms across her chest. She looks tired and ashamed. I step out of the closet and go to her pulling her into a back room. "Carly are you okay?" She nods and then begins to cry. "What happened?" I ask her she looks around then back to me. "It's Jax he um...." she stops and I become very concerned. "What did he do?" I ask then a topless girl comes to the room and looks inside. "Carly Jax wants you." She says Carly looks at me then pulls me into a hug. "I am sorry I got you into this." Carly says then leaves me. The topless girl looks at me. "Are you a new girl?" I look at her confused she enters the room coming close to me. She sees my mark she smiles. "Some of us aren't so lucky." she says and turns. "What do you mean by that?" I ask she turns again and closes the space between us. "Not all of us are chosen to sit with boys. Some have debts to pay. Enjoy it well it lasts because once they are done with you. You'll be me trying to pay back what they took from me." She says. "What did they take from you?" I ask she crosses her arms in front of her chest. "The real question is what wasn't taken." she turns again but then faces me. "Do you know I was captain of the soccer team?" I watch as she becomes more emotional. "I was a perfect A student. I had a full-ride scholarship to USC and then I met Jax. He took my body. FUCK! He took my life." She starts to cry in frustration. "Now what do I have? I have been used and abused by thousands of men. If I m being honest I think I will die before Jax lets me go." she says. "Have you gone to the police?" I ask she laughs. This house has been raided 10 times but we women that live here are forced to hide behind a fake wall." She says I fur my eyebrows. "How old are all of you?" she looks at me dead in the eyes. "The youngest is 13 and oldest is 17 then this big man comes and takes all women who are 18." She looks over to the door. "Well, I better get back." She wipes her eyes and then looks at me. "Is my mascara good?" I nod and she exits I follow when Jax grabs her roughly and pushes her against the wall. "What did I tell you about talking to the new girls?" He asks roughly and she winces as he squeezes her arms. "Jax leave her alone!" I say standing strong. He turns to me and the girl leaves. He comes close to my face. "You have a real problem staying out of people's business." He says as we have a staredown. He laughs and places his finger on my mark. "That soon will fade and you are up for grabs." He says Tom enters the scene and he looks at me. "Quinn come here." Tom says Jax backs up and I walk quickly to Tom he pulls me into another room with silk couches and see-through curtains. He brings me to an empty seating area. He sits down and pulls me to straddle him. He pulls my head down to his ear. "I called Captain Fuller and he has a swat team coming." I pull away and I look over to see Jax walking into the room he looks at our section and stops. I reach down and kiss Tom my heart jumped. I pull back and look at Tom's eyes he smiles then flips me to the couch. He kisses me hard and I kiss him back. He takes my arms and pulls them up the top of my head. He kisses my face going to my neck.  "He's gone." I say and Tom continues to kiss me. I could feel my body start to tingle as he goes to my chest. I pull Tom to face me. "The girls here are from the ages 13 to 17. every time the cops come all the girls hide behind a false wall." I say he smiles at me looking impressed. "Nice job." I look at him confused. "What? Did you think I couldn't do it?" I ask him he looks down at me I could feel a tension between. We stare at each other when he starts coming down to kiss me. BANG! We both turn and get up from the couch in search of the gunshot. We get to the kitchen packed with people. We push past people to a scene a girl lays there topless with a gun in one hand and a bullet in her head. I look down at the gun and realize it's mine. I look over to Tom he shakes his head to keep quiet. Jax pushes past the group of people he looks down at her and sighs. "You still owe me like 100 grand." Suddenly the front door bursts open. "POLICE! EVERYONE GET DOWN!" Tom pulls me down to the ground people start to panic as police officers handcuff people. I look at the girl with a bullet in her head and can't help but think this is my fault. The officers start taking people out the door. I feel an officer come down to me and zip tie my hands then pull me off the ground. He walks me outside to all of the Jax gang all being put in the back of a Swat bus. I see Carly in a squad car. Tom and I are brought to a car we get in. Then captain Fuller turns around. He looks at both of us and then begins to drive. I watch as we drive out of the Lion's den.
