Breathe (Tom Hanson 21 Jump Street)

back to scheduled programming.

I couldn't stop thinking about it. Not Tom but Carly. How I just disappeared from the face of the planet. I knew it was too dangerous to go back to school but I knew I had to do something to help her but what. I have limited resources at my disposal. I needed to talk to Cap to see if I could take this assignment from a different angle at least check up on Carly and the other women under the finger of Jax. This is a tricky situation I am in and I feel like I can do nothing. But that wasn't going to stop me.

I burst through the door of Cap's office ready to plead my case but he puts his finger up to stop me. I was taken aback at my bold move being dismissed. I cross my arms and he looks up at me. "Kinsley you are already back on the case. Carly has been missing for a week and I think you are the only person that can find her." He says and my heart burst with excitement and worrying at the same time. I nod my head and he grabs a file giving it to me. I take it and make my way back to my desk. I open the file and she was declared missing my heart sinks as I know that Jax had her somewhere hidden. There was something about Carly that he loved so much. Judy appears next to me scaring me. "Fuck Judy!" she laughs a little looking down at the case file. "Do you know where she is?" She asks and I shake my head. "I have some ideas but I can't go in alone." I say looking up at her. She gives me a big smile. "I am by your side ride or die." She says and she places her pinky out and I hook mine and we both smile.

So there are two options she is either at Jax's house or she is hiding out. My first thought was to text her and when I did I wouldn't get a reply just a picture of a blue house. I looked through all the neighbors and couldn't find the house but something looked very familiar about it. I then decided that I should go right to the source. Judy and I needed to look at the part to get into Jax's house. I decided on a light blue low cute dress with gold shoes. this was a dress that I knew would get a few eyes on me. Judy walks toward me in a bright red dress with a deep cut exposing her chest. Her hair was in a natural curl and her shoes were bright white. She smile and twirls. "Do you think they will let me in?" she asks I nod my head unable to speak because of her beauty. I knew Tom would already be there so we would have three in the area in case anything goes down. "Let's go find Carly." I say turning and exiting out my door.

To say I was nervous was an understatement. I didn't know if I could pull this off or if I would even find her at all. But I knew if I didn't try Carly would be dead and gone. I stop in front of the door and fix my bra I look over to Judy she gives me a reassuring nod. I knock hard on the door three times. It wasn't long before the door swung open presenting Jax. I drop my hip looking at him seductively. "I knew you couldn't resist me, Quinn." He says I walk up to him placing my hand on his chest. "I can't resist a real man." I whisper I could feel his heart speed up as my hand travels down his chest but I stop and look back to Judy. "This is my friend Judy." I say looking back at him. "Can she....come...In?" I watch as his eyes go wide as I speak. "You two are coming to my special room." He says ushering us in. As I walk in nothing seems to have changed everything was very much in the open. We stop in front of the red door and suddenly I don't feel so good. Jax comes to my side and opens the door and I wasn't prepared for what I was seeing. I reach back to Judy's hand and squeeze it tightly then releases it. As I walked in I began to take notes.  

The women in this "Special Room" Were soulless there was nothing there but bodies. As I journey through the room the women bump into me not acknowledging it at all. Jax pulls us to a side couch where Tom sits with a beer. I nod to him and he gives a small smile. As I sit I can't tell what is going on. This looked just like the outside but there was something in the air. Tom reaches behind me and grabs the back of my neck pulling me to his ear. "These women are for sale." He whispers and pulls back and looks deep into his eyes my heart starts to race as men take these women. "Have you seen Carly?" I ask and he shakes his head no. My stomach dropped it was too late. "So Quinn where is Carly? Jax grabs my attention. I smile and turn to face him. "I haven't talked to her since my expulsion," I say and he laughs a little. "Then why are you texting her?" He asks and I tried to keep my composure but it was too late my face dropped. "What?" I ask and both Judy and Tom come to attention. "You are texting Carly are you not?" He asks and my brain scrambles. "Um...I wanted to know if you and she were still a thing." I say and he smiles. "Why don't you come over here and ask me?" I couldn't breathe as I stood up to walk over to him. He leans back as I walk toward him towering over him. "Ask me." He demands and I ball my fist tightly. "Are you still with her?" I ask and he smiles. "Do you want me, Quinn?" He asks and my face starts to burn. I nod slowly as he stands up now towering over me. Suddenly Tom is by my side. "I told you Jax Quinn is mine!" He says pulling back harshly. Did he forget we are in an active investigation? I could feel the tension rise and I take this moment to separate them. I place my hand on Tom's chest pushing him back but it was too late. Tom grabs my arm pulling me through the room without Judy. I look back at her and she nods. I am pushed roughly through a spare room and Tom closes it locking it. "What the fuck!" I yell at him and he turns to charge me. He grabs me kissing me hard I am surprised at his action. I push him away quickly. "Are you fucking kidding me right now?" I ask with a stern voice. He comes back to me but I push him hard. "Have you forgotten that 17-year-old girl is missing and we are standing in a brothel?" I ask and he becomes serious. "Quinn I just can't do this." He says walking past me. "Do what?" I ask and he turns to me. "I can't watch you with him." He says and I am in disbelief. "Whatever is happening between you and I needs to stay out of our profession," I say and he nods. I turn to exit the door swings open with Jax charging in. I move out of the way as men follow in behind him closing the door behind him. I begin to panic as they circle, Tom. "What is going on?" I ask and Jax looks at one of the men and points to me. Suddenly a guy grabs me roughly pulling me out of the room. "TOM!" I yell as I watch the door close. Suddenly I knew it was the house Carly keeps sending me. The man drops me and Judy pushes him away. "I know where she is," I say and then my mind floods what's going on behind this closed door. "Go! I will get him out." She says pushing me out the door. I was going back to where it all started where I lost everything.
