One Week Later:

I happily bite into the fresh pear that Mal sent me from Auradon. It's been about a week since I've last seen them. Dad has been coming and going as usual and I'm actually considering moving to Auradon permanently. Dad practically told me that he wants me out, so...

Here I currently am, eating a pear while packing up my little belongings. When I get to the exit, Dad is just returning. He's holding a canned corn and I smile. Some things never change I guess.

"You're leaving."

He states and I nod. Not knowing what came over me, I hug him. I pull away quickly and look at him.

"I love you, Dad. Thanks for everything."

Something shifts in him and he places his hand on my shoulder.

"You'll always have a home here. See you, Kid."

With that, he walks into the house and I walk out, leading out of The Isle and into Auradon.

"Wait, Jane! Why are you doing this?"

I stop at the entrance of Auradon Prep, hearing Carlos calling after a girl. She turns in his direction and sighs.

"I'm sorry, Carlos. I just really wanna be with Chad. He's changed. I'll see you around."

With that, she strolls, leaving Carlos looking upset as he watches after her. Without thinking, I make my way over to him.

"Carlos?"

He turns, startled.

"Mirabelle! Hi. What're doing here?"

He asks, smiling. I smile back at him, loving the wide grin.

"Urm... Mal and Evie asked me to move here last week and I finally decided 'why not?'."

I say and he nods with a smile still on his face. I turn in the direction of the girl who just ran out on Carlos before turning back to him.

"Are you okay? Kinda saw you and that girl exchanging words."

I say and just like that, the smile disappears from Carlo's face. It makes me almost want to do anything to see it back on his face.

"Jane is- was my girlfriend. She just broke up with me."

He says, head down. I suddenly grow angry, unsure why. Going with my impulses, I gently take his hand and he looks at our conjoined hands before looking up at me.

"She sucks, but if she can't accept you for you, then she's not worth it."

I tell him and he smiles softly at me. I drop his hand when I hear my name being called. Turning, I see Evie and a guy making their way over to me.

"Mirabelle! It's so good to see you!"

Evie says, crushing me in a hug. Though I appreciate it, I have to wheeze.

"Okay, Evie, I cannot breathe."

She immediately pulls away, gesturing to ths guy beside her.

"Mirabelle, this is Doug, my one and only. Doug, this is Mirabelle, my Sister."

She says with a huge smile and I smile and give a little wave to Doug, who waves back. Evie turns to Carlos.

"Were you hiding my Sister from me?"

She asks him playfully and I can see that he doesn't want to tell Evie that his girlfriend broke up with him, so I rescue him.

"I was on my way to find you guys and ran into Carlos and we got to talking."

I say nonchalantly and Carlos nods. Evie smiles again and takes my hand.

"Mal is going to be so happy to see you!"

She exclaims and literally drags me away. Away from Carlos.

Mal says as we step into my new bedroom. I gasp at the beauty of the room. They designed this for me?

I turn to the two girls and hug them. They laugh and hug me back tightly.

"Thank you."

I whisper in their ears and smile.
