The bell rings and I pack up my stuff, wanting to get away from The Fairy God Mother as quickly as possible. That was a lot of 'good' for one day.
I've been settling in for the past week. Getting my classes picked and my plan in schedule. I've spent some time with Evie at her castle and with Mal at The Enchanted Lake.
Unfortunately, I haven't seen Carlos that much. Only in between classes and when I go to visit my Sister's. I don't know why that upsets me. I am officially done for the weekend!
Mal and Evie wanna get everyone together for a picnic later on tonight. They want me to 'get to know' everyone. I don't mind since there's food there. The food at Auradon is soooo much better than The Isle. No flies. No one stealing it from you. Nothings stale. The portions are big. It's amazing!
I'm currently on the way to my locker, eager to dump my stuff and get to Evie's, where we're all meeting up. With my stuff dumped, I slam my locker door closed, jumping slightly when Carlos comes into view. Immediately brushing it off, I smile at him.
"Hey, Stranger. Long time no see."
I smirk and his eyes widen as he tries to defend himself, much to my delight.
"I've been around. I would've said 'hi', but you seemed kinda pissed everytime I saw you that I decided against it. My Mother is to thank for that."
He laughs nervously and my heart drops at his words.
"No matter how pissed I look, I'd always muster up a smile for you."
I say, but then my eyes widen and I grow extremely hot. However, Carlos just smiles at me.
"Do you wanna walk to Evie's together?"
He asks and I nod and we begin our walk to Evie's. Together. Side by side.
