Hi! I'm Ziris and I am married to the most amazing woman in the world. Well technically she's part fish- wait no mermaid but regardless, I'm married to her!

She's so sweet-and kind-and amazing! And-and-
Okay Ziris, slow down, slooooooow downnnn...

Alright, let me actually speak coherently. Lori has a heart of gold, she's considerate and humble.

Like incredibly, she listens to everyone and would remember even the small tiny details mentioned offhandedly. Dad mentioned how he was uncomfortable with eating Kabrabs while telling us about his general stories; later on when I was making a feast, she reminded me to not make Kabrabs. She always asks questions to make sure she doesn't get anything wrong or congratulates everyone's efforts, no matter who wins or loses in a game. (However she usually wins somehow- like she's crazy good at games)

Her voice is perfect, soft like a lamb & silky smooth like a web, I'm practically trapped in a heavenly trance; leaving me open to danger and my own clumsy nature.....

...

It's worth it though- to hear her mermaid stories, her ramble on how amazing the surface can be, current news & what she learnt. Her eyes always light up when she talks to me about multitude of things. A dazzling cute smile follows after every word. If I was butter, I would melt.

When she gets embarrassed or teased about something mid-ramble, her lil blush would spread ear to ear with some of her hair dropping on her face and a small pout, my face blazes every times. She would continue on afterwards after whoever teased her apologizes. Her radiating eyes & smile would return every time. Passion is the only word I could call it. She's a very passionate person.

And I know damn well she embraces it when she pronounces words improperly. Like hendy instead of handy.

She loves to share things if that's not obvious already. She even shared her seashell collection with everyone & allows them to trade for seashells! All the kids in our area of the kingdom loves her!

And since my dad is the general- well- The queen even likes her! And she's the queen! They say fire and water don't mix yet here we are!

Another note! She's not (completely) naive, yeah she's innocent, hopeful that things will get better or end how they should for fairness but she has good judgement & wisdom- better than me anyways. She told dad & me that we shouldn't trust a shady guy named Cald. I brushed it off, thinking he just looked weird; but dad trusted her and turns out he was a spy! She told me the other day that it's okay to not keep going, sometimes you need someone to carry you a bit before you start again; after all you can always restart.

That was so wise, I treasure it forever.

And even in face of adversity, she's willing to extend her hand as far as possible while smugly smirking- which is very scary by the way. Or even hurt someone, and she is a person who doesn't want to hurt anyone (except for maybe one person of course, I would think).

She had a kingdom in the ocean until she was kidnapped & turned human. She wanted to go back of course so we helped her when we met. We tried to get back, but instead her kingdom was gone, in ruins, no one was there. The expression her face broke my heart. However she persevered, telling us they must of escaped or left and decided to stay with us while occasionally searching for them. She had this power to "transport" herself to different streams, ponds, rivers & ocean; allowing her to travel to unknown places that might lead to her people.

Over time, we grew closer and closer and closer...And here we are, in love, married & together.

And plus-! We're gonna have a baby! Idk how it's going to work but still! Yeah it was unexpected but still! (Sorry for saying still too much-) Our lil baby bump is growing and will be ready for labor in a month or so. When we first found out she was pregnant, she bounced with so much joy, doing a lil jig & laughing.

When our baby first kicked, she yelped and jumped up. I thought she was dying first, I'm not even going to sugarcoat it until realizing the obvious. I explained to her and she lit up. practically radiated pure joy! Claiming they're "swimming in her belly or trying to travel out of her belly!". Dad did say she wasn't completely wrong.

She can't exactly be mobile as she wants to anymore, but doesn't mind. She just stares at her belly, holding my hand and hums a little tune or rambles. We like the name Mira or Miro; we reallyyyyyy like the Mir- part. We don't care if it's a girl or boy or in between. Miro & Mira sounds really nice for either one.

Sorry for rambling heh heh...

Final semi-concerning note to add on- Her friend is very protective over her. Like, very! Even more than Dad actually.. huh...

Lori met her one day when traveling through the streams and found this mountain. The second she got out the stream, there was a knife pointed at her neck. And somehow she had the idea to befriend the one threatening her- AND IT WORKED. If it was me, I would of screamed and fell back into the water. But nope! Her friend was cold & distrusting at first, but Lori kept visiting her after she let her go. They got close, having little talks & picnics.

Soon enough, she was trusted enough to meet her family, her kids love her (calling her Auntie Lori- so cute), same with her husband and the other people that live there. She told me she would kill for Lori.... That legitimately spooked me. It's sweet but terrifying. However it became more terrifying than sweet when I heard (at the same time I may add) that they all would kill for her. At least I know there are people willing to protect Lori at all costs besides us. It assures me in a way.

Any wayyyy.... I don't regret finding Lori in the forest and protecting her and helping her and loving her. I would do anything for her. I give her kisses everyday, hug her, make her favorites weekly, listen to her beautiful voice every night and then wake up to her even more beautiful face every morning. Even though I'm working for her, it feels like I'm the one being spoiled. Just seeing her is the greatest reward for me.... I wouldn't have it any other way. I love you Lori.

Ziris, huny, are you writing about me again?

Hi Lori! You know I am! If I don't I'll explode from keeping all my emotions inside!

We both laugh, however I laugh lower to let her reviguratinf laugh ring out. She stands holding her belly with her ring hand & other lightly covering her mouth. Behind her is somehow is an Ethereal light, letting her glow even brighter than before. Her smile was blinding, my cheeks & my "feeling" hairs grew pink.

Don't forget I love you Ziris!

I love you too, my love...!
