"Oh Ruthie~" A muscular woman calls from behind an agape door, smiling flirtatiously. Her eyes train to the shorter and petite woman resting in a firmly cushioned chair, nose deep in her book.

"Hello there Ance," She looks over, raising a brow. "-happy that we're off today?"

She grins proudly and nods, taking strides to the chair and lowering her stature to tightly embrace her girlfriend. "Yes but mainly because I get to spend the day with you~"

Shrike rolls her eyes and leans in to her hug, keeping her eyes on her book, accepting Ance's kiss on her cheek without a flinch. "You spend everyday with me Ance."

"But I mean, ya know, alone and together..." She rubs her cheek against hers, taking a knee and tightening her hug with her.

"Doesn't nighttime count?" Her smile flatters, Ance lets go of her girlfriend and rest her forearm on her knee. "I-I mean- We don't really get to spend time together on our own terms and relax at the same time, ya know?"

"That is true, so what do you want to do?" Her eyes focus on the woman in front her; watching her awkward movements of tapping her fingers together then scratching her neck while rocking her body back and forth.

"Maybe we can go on a little date and then buy some stuff- ooh and we can check out the archives like you want and-"

"Alright, let's go Ance." Shrike rises with a neutral expression, leaving the book facing down on the comforter.

They exit the escort house and join into the streets, bustling with people and carts, stalls sitting on both side with colorful flags & eye-catching material. People buzz by as they walk side by side, Shrike stays close and looking around.

"So where to first?" The larger woman smiles bright, eyes sparkling at a cafe sign hanging from the front. She grabs her girlfriend and dashes over.

"Date!"  Ance & Shrike enter the Carde cafe, taking their seats and ordering once a server comes by their table.

The redhead glances around while Ance rests her forearms on the table and leans in, she tries to keep her voice low and energy contained in her smile.

"Soooo?" Shrike raises a brow, putting on leg over there as she rests her hands in her lap.

"Soooo..?" Her girlfriend shakes her head, laughing at the others confusion and circumstantial obliviousness.

Those moments are usually far and few in between; the brunette savored the moment, studying her expression; slight tilt of her head, wide eyes, cute wrinkled nose, raised brow and mouth slightly agape, letting her pretty lips be parted, then her nod for her to tell her what she's missing. After all, she hates being in the dark. Ance chuckles.

"Well? Tell me what you want to do today!"

"I mean," She sighs, moving hair behind her ear. "—the archive is good enough Ance— of course you probably wouldn't enjoy today there...." She taps her finger on the table. "So are there possible shops or other places you would like to go?" The server strolls over, relinquishing their drinks as Ance hands off some coins with a thanks and wave.

"Well there is the market street I wanted to visit! The fabric looked amazing! I wouldn't mind also a touch up on my hair. Plus I read on a flyer the materials are worth for dying for!" Shrike rose her brow once again, without confusion, as she sets down her tea.

"It's always busy Ance," She gestures to the ever bustling streets. "-we'll barely get anything done by the time the day ends. And, we have to get up to prepare for our next debriefing, I heard it's a long way from here as well." The brunette slumps her shoulders and leans back into the chair, mouth in a thin line.
