Dallon's POV

I opened my eyes a little, seeing no one in my room.

"Babe?" I mumbled, then I sat up. I had no idea where Brendon was.

"Woah, Dal, it looks like you saw a ghost." A familiar voice said.

I turned to face the man leaning against the wall. "Tyler?"

Tyler Joseph smiled at me. "Hey, Dal! Ryan called us to come over and help you out!"

"Where's Brendon?" I asked worriedly.

"Who's Brendon?" Tyler asked.

"My boyfriend." I said. "We're both hurt, I brought him here and I passed out. Now he's gone. He's probably scared."

"Okay, Dalpal, Josh and Ryan are taking care of someone else, they never said a name cause Jishwa never tells me anything." Tyler said, rolling his eyes. "Speak of the devil, there's my boyfriend."

Josh and Tyler had started dating a while back, but acted more like best friends than a couple.

Josh and Ryan walked in. "Oh, you're up!"

"Ryan! Sit down!" I said. "You're gonna pass out!"

"No I won't, calm down." Ryan said. "I'm glad you're awake, whoever I carried in here is really fucking worried about you."

I sat up more. "Brendon!? Is he okay? Is he hurt? Where is he?"

"Woah, woah, woah." Josh Dun said. "Slow down there, Dallon, you're talking like Alvin the Chipmunk on fast forward."

I shook my head. "Where's my boyfriend?"

"Wait. That dude is your boyfriend!?" Ryan exclaimed. "Where the fuck have I been?"

"Hey! No cursing!" Josh exclaimed. "So, the guy I just saw was your boyfriend?"

"Haven't we already covered this?" Tyler asked in his usual sassy tone. "Yes, the dude is his boyfriend! And when do I get to know something that's going on?"

Josh sighed, taking Tyler's hand. "Lemme show you."

Ryan and I waited for a few minutes, until Tyler ran back in the room.
"What the heck did I just see?" He exclaimed.

"Josh, is Brendon okay?" I asked, grabbing my friend's arm.

"I still have to treat you, I'm a biology student, not a marine biology student." Josh said. "Plus you're still bleeding a little."

"You've gotta treat him first, Josh, I don't care how long it takes, as long as I know he'll be fine." I said.

"Dude, this isn't Grey's Anatomy, calm down." Tyler said. "We wrapped a...a...turquonit around your feet."

"It's a tourniquet, Tyjo." Josh sighed. "Basically we stopped you from bleeding out so I can figure out what the heck I'm doing."

"Damn, that makes me feel real safe." I said sarcastically.

"I've never dealt with a freaking mermaid before! I don't know how his body works! He won't talk to me, so I don't know what's wrong!" Josh exclaimed.

"Hey, babe, you're doing great." Tyler said, putting his hand on Josh's shoulder. "Just don't screw everything up, okay?"

Josh smiled a little. "Okay, you stay with Dallon-"

"Uh, no! I'm coming to see what you're gonna do!" Tyler said. "Ryan can stay with Dallon."

"Jeez, guys, you're making me feel so special." I muttered.
