BOOM
The sound of a gun didn't startle me anymore. I was too used to it by this point, so I just kept running. They couldn't catch me. Those stupid fuckers. As i ran faster the sounds got dimmer. It was hard to see at this time of night, especially in the woods. Trees and plants everywhere. One fuck up could ruin me. As you probably already knew, vampires are much faster than humans. If a human dares to try catch a vampire they would most likely end up badly wounded or dead. I slowed from hunger. I was starving, I hadn't eaten in months and i needed a meal, but I couldn't go back to kill an innocent human. It was just wrong, but what choice did i have? I stopped and looked around. I thought to myself for a few seconds. "Hm" I looked over to where the human should be coming from. He was close to my path. I climbed the nearest tree and waited. It took a good 10 minutes before the pathetic piece of shit finally showed up. I got ready. He wondered with a shotgun. "Where are you ya bastard?" I chuckled a little. "Idiot. This was gonna be easier than i thought" I wanted to make a good kill, but who cared? I was desperate. I pounced on him and bit clean into his neck. "AHH. FUCK. SOMEONE! PLEASE! HELP ME!" He squirmed around for a minute, begging for mercy. But i had no intention of letting him live. He deserved to die, the fucking shithead."HELP! PLEASE! SOMEON-" He stopped moving, finally. I got up and began walking back. I smelt a living human nearby, although there weren't any for miles to go. I just brushed it off and kept going. The walk back was gonna be difficult. I mean, i'm covered in blood while walking into town when there's a lot of commotion about vampires. What are my odds? By this point I definitely knew there was a human somewhere around. I stopped and looked around. "Where are you?" I froze to the sound of a shotgun being cocked from behind me. "Fuck"
BOOM
"J-Jake? Where are you?"
"A-Ali? I-I'm over here!"
"Come to me Jake.. please"
"I'm coming baby!"
I stopped at i tall dark figure that appeared where Ali was.
"A-Ali?"
It bolted toward me. I watched it come to me. I thought it was Ali.
"Ali! It's me baby!"
...that wasn't Ali. It made the most demonic and heart-stopping noise possible. My eyes widened as i ran the other way. I tried to escape, but it was too fast, even for a vampire. Darkness slowly consumed me. A sudden pause. I stopped dead in my tracks. As much as i didn't think it was possible i saw something even more frightening than the demon behind me, the slaughtered body of my beautiful Ali. The same way i saw her that day...that fucked up, bullshitting, most fucking disgusting and heartbreaking day of my life. I couldn't move. As much as i wanted to escape it was useless. I couldn't run anymore. It was over. The darkness consumed me until i could no longer see my princess.
I woke bolt upright in my bed, drenched in sweat, eyes wide open. I gasped and nearly choked on my breath. "FUCK" I vomited on the floor for a second. "Ugh" Tears went down my sweat covered face. I know i have had terrible nightmares lately but that was by far the worst one yet. "I can't keep living like this." I got up and almost died. "ARGH! SHIT." I instantly fell back on my bed. I looked at my chest, a bullet wound? "Oh fuck" I remembered last night. The chase, he shot me. I couldn't remember what happened after..I cleaned most of the blood with towels and some water. It stung like a bitch. I shouldn't have killed him. I should've kept running, but the wound, he was dead...wasn't he? I shook my head. I'm just overthinking it. There were probably hunters around. I put on my jacket and glasses and slammed my door shut on the way out. I could see without glasses, i needed them for going out in public. It tinted out the red in my eyes, so no one would suspect me to be a vampire. Everyone was already curious since i'm 14 and never go to school. So i decided to try something different and go to school so people would get off my back. I was still unsure how a pair of glasses and a jacket could cover everything up. Well, i have to try i guess...
