I walked home in the shadows. They could be anywhere, and being vampires they had even more chance of finding me.
... ... I heard something. Something behind me, in the bushes. I looked over and saw a dark figure behind a bush crouching down. It looked exactly like the thing in my dreams. "W-Who are you?"
... No response
"Hey! Who the fuck are you?!" I threw a stick into the bushes. It stood up. It was fucking huge. I backed up a bit.
"H-Hey, back off!"
It screeched so loudly i think i went deaf for a moment. "Argh Fuck off!" It went dead silent. I looked at it, it had glowing red eyes, that's all I could see.
"HEYYY! What are we staring at" I swung my arm out and nearly punched her in the head.
"Hey! Watch where you swing that thing!"
It was Eve.
"Oh. It's just you"
"Well duh. Who did you think it was? Anyways where you been all day? No one's seen you except for in class."
"Uhm. It doesn't matter. How did you find me?"
"Oh. I saw you with Sunny. I don't really like her. She's bad news."
"Oh. Okay."
"Yeah, well anyways, i'd better be going. Cya!"
"Okay bye"
She wondered off into the darkness. I looked back where the thing was. There was nothing there. I figured i just need some rest. That's probably it. But fuck she scared me, i think i had a stroke when she came in. But one thing i'm not too sure of is how she dodged my punch. Vamipres are faster than human, much faster, i don't see how she could just avoid a hit like that. Ugh i'm overthinking again. Might as well go home then, it's getting late.
"What the fuck?"
My house..there was nothing. Just ashes and rubble. There were police and fire fighters everywhere. I ran up to one of the policemen.
"What the fuck happened to my house?!"
"Oh. Mr Collin."
"What the fuck happened??!"
"Oh. The house. Two men broke in and started a fire from the inside. I'm sorry"
I just stared at him.
"Hellooo?"
I had zoned out. "Oh uhm okay. Thank you officer."
I walked away. What was i going to do? I have no house, people who want me dead, and i'm a vampire. What wad I gonna do now?! Fucking hell. I guess there's only one place to go. Back to the school.
