"Class!" Everyone continued to talk. I stood by the doorway, it seemed like everyone's blind spot considering they still hadn't noticed me. "CLASS!" Everyone stopped. "Sorry Ms Goodman" Ms Goodman sat up "Now, today we have a new student joining us. His name is Jake, he's an exchange student." Everyone stared at me. It was like i just killed someone..not that i didn't but some things just can't be said out loud here.
I coughed a little. "Hi"
"HIIIII" I jumped a little. A girl at the back was psychoticly waving her arms around. I laughed a little under my breath.
"That's enough Eve"
"Oh. Sorry Ms Goodman" She seemed like the joyful type. Tch. If i'm ever that happy just hit me with a brick. Eve still stood up staring at me. She smirked a little before getting pulled down to her seat. I heard little whispers from where they were, her friend must've dragged her down. "So Jake. You can sit by the front with Sunny." I nodded my head and sat down.
"Hey" I looked over to her
"oh, hi"
"I'm Sunny, Sorry if the girls behind us were bothering you, they're the weird ones"
"Nah it's okay, and yeah i can see" I looked over to see them fighting over pens. Eve looked up at me "Oh hii" she smiled at me. The other girl took the pen and hid it. "Hey! No fair!"
"Your mistake shithead" Eve lightly slapped her arm.
"You can be very mean"
"Oh well"
I laughed a little and turned around.
It seemed like seconds later school was over. "Well that went quick"
"Yeah, it can be a bit like that on your first day. Well anyway, i better be going, see you tomorrow"
"Okay see you around" She smiled and i smiled back. Sunny seemed like a nice girl, she wasn't as dark and fucked up as me but she wasn't as hyper and crazy as Eve, I think we'll have a good friendship. "Heyyy!" I looked over and saw Eve running up to me. "Hey! How's it going?"
"Okay I guess"
"Oh yeah, you haven't met Skye! SKYE. GET OVER HERE!"
She looked at her with disappointment and walked away.
"Oh come on! Don't be like that! Hey, i'll talk to you later okay? Byeee" She ran to Skye "Come on, why do you have to do this?" I laughed a bit and walked the other way.
I got home and threw my jacket to the floor. "Ugh" I sat on my bed with my hands over my face to think for a minute. What should i do? Should i keep going to school and live a normal life? What do i do? What if i get too attached.."NO!" I threw my pillow across the room. "I can't fucking love a human..it will kill us both." I laid down and cried myself to sleep.
