"ALI STAY AWAY FROM THAT THING"
"W-what?"
"ALI!"
"Okay! Geez."
"Thank you. I just don't want you getting hurt"
She gave me a look. I laughed a little, I didn't want her going near the dangerous animals because the cages were rusty. She loved the zoo so much, she could practically live here.
"Hey Jake! Look at this!"
She stood near a saber toothed tiger, one of the last in existence.
"Be careful"
"Oh come on! It's not like it's gonna-"
The cage fell on her.
"ALI!"
The tiger jumped out of the cage and stared directly at me. Ali got the cage bars off of her and got up
"Jake!-" She froze when she saw the tiger
It turned and stared at her. I mumbled under my breath "You better not fucking touch her"
It slowly walked toward her, i heard the guards coming to get it, i was just praying they got here in time.
A siren suddenly went off. Ali jumped "fuck"
The tiger jumped on her
"GET THE FUCK OFF HER YOU SON OF A BITCH"
Ali's screams made my heart sink. I bolted towards the tiger "FUCK YOU" I tackled the tiger off of her and beat it to the ground. The guards came in, "Get off the tiger!" I ignored them, i wanted to kill it, then a thought came into my mind. Ali. I got up and ran to her, i stopped and stared. She....she was...dead. Her lifeless body was scattered across the floor, blood dripping from her scars and her wounds. I fell to my knees. How could i let this happen to her? She was the only girl i ever loved, the only one i cared about. I cried my eyes out over her body. By now the only people there were the 3 guards and myself. "Sir, we're gonna have to ask you to leave"
"No, just. Not now. I just need a minute."
Two of them grabbed me
"Sir, leave now please"
"Just give me a minute please"
He whispered to the second guard "get him out of here"
They picked me up. I kicked one of them in the balls and threw the other over my shoulder. The third guard pulled out a gun and pointed it at my face.
"Look, i don't want any trouble, just leave and no one else gets hurt."
I laughed
"What are you laughing at fucker?"
I stopped and looked him dead in the eye.
"Why don't you leave?"
"Excuse me?"
"You're excused"
He gave me a frustrated look and clicked the gun.
"Go ahead. I dare you"
BOOM
I dodged the bullet
"W-what th-"
I ran to him and bit into his neck before he could finish his sentence
"ARGH. HELP. PLEASE SOMEONE"
He dropped the gun and fell to his knees. I grabbed the gun and stopped biting. "You- you're a-a"
"Shh." I smirked at him "No one needs to know"
BOOM
I woke up and sat bolt upright. I saw Eve, she looked over. "Jake!" I coughed up some blood and fell back down. "Jake! Are you okay?" I didn't respond. I looked at my chest and see bandages over where I was shot, and stabbed. "I know it can feel like that, just try and cope as much as possible okay?" I looked up at her and half smiled. She smiled back. "Is Skye okay?"
"Oh, well, there's the thing..."
Skye walked in, her face...she had a huge scar down the left side of her face, running through her eye...
