This AU idea comes from one line because little things can send me into a spiral of inspiration.
So basically, we all know that Grian sells his services as a Guinea pig in episodes 9&10, right.
Well, during the end of episode 9, Grian says the following:
"Someone will come for me eventually, right?"
And then my mind was like, what if someone didn't come?
So this AU is basically that one change.
