Third Person POV
It was Monday November 18. They were back in History class waiting for the teacher to arrive. Chaeyoung wasn't waiting for him instead she was waiting for her.

Chaeyoung knew something was up when she saw her best friends enter the class without her. BamBam wasn't there either with his friends annoying everyone by being loud. Chaeyoung had a horrible feeling in her stomach. The bell rang which meant classes have officially begun.

Mr.Kim had entered with Mina and BamBam following behind... hand in hand. Chaeyoung was broken by the sight because that she be her. It should be her right next to Mina. Right next to her holding her hand and making her smile or blush. Not BamBam. The boy who has another girl playing them both. Neither of the girls deserve him. Especially Mina. However, Chaeyoung did know they weren't official. If they were BamBam would be bragging about it to the entire school just like how he brags about his perfect grades. They got to their seats and pretended like nothing happened.

Mr. Kim: I had realized I never gave a date for the project. The due date will be December, 5th. A Thursday but another way to remember it is by saying "December 5th equals Chaeyoung's birthday"

Mina gasped. The younger girl never told her that her birthday was a couple weeks away. Why would she not share such an important day with Mina? Did she not trust her yet? Did they not know each other well enough? Did she forget to mention when it was? So many thoughts on the explanation on why Chaeyoung never told her was running through Mina's head.

On the other hand Chaeyoung wanted to end Mr.kim. Why did he bring up her birthday? It meant nothing to her. Just another year of getting closer to death. Another year of growing lonely. Another year of admiring her. Another year of having a stupid crush. Another year of doing whatever it takes just to get her.  

Ever since the project has begun and growing closer to Mina. Chaeyoung had an uneasy feeling. She had marked two checks off her list on why she had that feeling.  One was that she was caught in a love triangle. She never believed in those but looks like the universe is giving her other ideas. The second is Mina likes BamBam but she will try to fight for her no matter what. However there was another one that left Chaeyoung clueless. She couldn't figure out the last one but she wouldn't stop until she finally found out why.

Other than that Chaeyoung had felt satisfied. She had a few more weeks to spend with Mina before her confession. Yes you heard that right. December 3rd would be the day that Chaeyoung would finally confess. Chaeyoung thought out the plan on Sunday. She would be hanging out with Mina everyday after school and on the weekends. She would make Mina grow attached to her and hopefully she'll grow feelings. Then Chaeyoung would finally confess before BamBam could steal her. 

Chaeyoung had already asked Mina if she wanted to hangout later today. Mina had accepted and Chaeyoung was starting off on a successful start.  Even if Mina's happiness is one of the most Important thing to Chaeyoung. Chaeyoung also wants Mina to be happy with her not him.  It wasn't gonna be an easy battle but they (BamBam and Chaeyoung) were willing to do anything just for Mina.  It was scary how love could talk you to certain levels to the point that it could break you in one action.

-Time Skip to after school-
Mina and Chaeyoung were walking to park talking about more stuff they enjoyed. However, Mina decided to change the topic.

Mina: Chaeyoung, why didn't you tell me your birthday was coming up? Do you not know me enough to tell me?
Chaeyoung:I- no it's not that I do trust you.
Mina: Then why?
Chaeyoung: My birthday isn't that important. It's just another year of growing older and closer to death.
Mina: Oh- is there a reason why you don't like your birthday or than growing older?
Chaeyoung: yes- but It's very personal.
Mina: Well you could always tell me whenever your ready! -smiles-
Chaeyoung: Ok! Thanks -smiles back-
Mina: So whatcha wanna do?
Chaeyoung: I could teach you how to draw if you want?

When Mina heard the word draw her eyes lighted up. Even if Mina didn't consider it a hobby she enjoyed doing it in class whenever she was bored.  Chaeyoung started showing the basic steps to Mina which took her a while. However, she was good for a beginner. Every time Chaeyoung would put her hang on Mina's hand. Mina would feel small butterflies but she convinced herself it was just the euphoric feeling of friendship. But was it?

As the day went by Chaeyoung's feelings for the older girl grew even more. It wasn't a good thing because Chaeyoung knew she could never stand a chance against a boy. But Chaeyoung had hope. She wanted to show BamBam that she could get Mina.

On the other hand Mina was thinking of BamBam. She had realized he never crossed her mind when she was with Chaeyoung. Chaeyoung had always occupied her head but so had BamBam. Mina was confused. Confused on why her heart flutters every time she hears Chaeyoung giggle when she hangs out with Dahyun. Confused on why she gets an unknown feeling in her stomach every time she sees her holding hands and acting like a couple with Jihyo. Confused on why she wanted to be closer to Chaeyoung instead of BamBam. However, when it comes to BamBam her smile is 10 times wider. She likes him not her or does she? At the moment was trying to figure out her feelings.

Mina's parents had always warned her about falling in love. She had remembered what they had said to her the night she told them about him.

" Mina be careful. Why? Because of love. Some parents warn their children about drugs, violence, and stuff like that. But we want to warn you about love. Love can make you so confused, it can mess with your head and heart. Love is the worse drug out there because you could be so addicted to one's love that when they leave you.. you go through terrible obstacles. Trying to find your way out the dark hole but sometimes the hole is to deep and you could never get out of it. So please be careful Mina."

Well her parents were correct in one part. She was confused. No.. she is confused.

Chaeyoung: So Mina.. I was wondering if you wanted to hang out again tomorrow? You know so we could grow even close together.

Mina: Sure! That sounds good! Same time?

Chaeyoung: Yeah! We can to go to the arcade? I recall you saying that the arcade was your favorite place to go! We could do our homework at recess tomorrow so later the day we have nothing!

Mina: Aww Thanks Chaeyoung!! Anyways I better get going. We still have homework to do! So I'll see you tomorrow?

Chaeyoung: Yeah! I can drop you off! It's not safe for a young girl to be out alone.

Mina: But won't you be in danger when you drop me off?

Chaeyoung: I'll be good I've always walked alone home alone!

Mina: Ok let's go!

As they walked to Mina's home it was not as awkward. They felt safe with each other. They felt a warm feeling whenever they were together. That day feelings grew and it was just perfect. Maybe Chaeyoung did have this in the bag... or did she? It all just depended on her.
