Her (A Michaeng fanfiction)

Chapter 13.

Go to bed, there's always tomorrow...

As of now both sides of the party were separating. Oh how quickly Chaeyoung's birthday was coming. Mina would never be Chaeyoung's first choice anymore and to Mina. Chaeyoung was Mina's first choice. Or will the tables turn? No one knows but at the moment let's not pay attention.

It was the first sight of snow. Oh how Chaeyoung loved the snow. She wanted to make today special and decided to ask Mina if she wanted to hang out. It has been a while since Chaeyoung had asked her. Mina didn't want to admit it but she had been missing the presence of Chaeyoung after school. 

Mina POV

I saw Chaeyoung walking into the school yard with a small smile on her face. She stuck out her hand and was catching the snow. She watched as it melted in her hand and stuck out her hand for more snow flakes. It was pretty cute and no one would be able to deny it. Not even me. We made eye contact and she smiled. I smiled back and she started walking up to me. 

Soon enough she was standing right in front of me. "Hey" she said which I replied with a little hi. She had asked if I wanted to go to the park and I agreed. I want to make it up to her. I was in the wrong which had caused our friendship to have a bump. I want to make her happy, it is almost her birthday. Her friends are clearly excited but Chaeyoung has no emotion to it.  I feel sorry for the girl. I bet her parents don't even celebrate it with her or even do anything. I wonder why they hate her so much. 

I was snapped out of phase as soon as I heard Chaeyoung's phone ring. She quickly took it and looked nervous, she quickly dismissed herself and went running to the nearest tree. The cherry blossom tree. That was her favorite spot and It was mine as well. 

I followed her, I wanted to know why she was so nervous. It is rude but after all I wanna help her. She had picked up the phone and started to say 

"Mom, I'm in school." and with that all you heard was yelling. Loud enough that I was able to form a few words, such as: 

-" Why would you even try out?" 

-'You disobeyed us and then you ask why we hate you so much."

I saw Chaeyoung quickly wipe a tear and take a breath before saying "Mom, we can talk about this later when I get home." With that she hangs up. I quickly but quietly go back to the same spot I was in before. I had to tell the others. I want to help her.

I, Myoui Mina shall never hurt Son Chaeyoung in any way or form. I will keep that promise. I need to keep that promise. I'll find a way.

Third Person POV

Well a promise is meant to be broken. Nothing lasts forever and I think everyone knows that. Maybe Mina's promise will be shattered but who knows. That's up to her and her decisions. I know I say this often but I shall be honest this time.  Our tragic love triangle shall begin soon.  Oh how love is such a beautiful yet tragic feeling. Love a drug that makes you high and want more. Yet with the drug comes to the consequences of reality. They would never love you back or they will. Its a guessing game in a way.
