Chapter: Three[3]

Regina:

I open the front door to enter my empty house. My mum and dad are at work they don't get home until the sun goes down. I start to head upstairs when I hear Kyle's voice interrupting me. "Gina!" His voice was harsh enough to get my attention and to turn around to face him. "I saw you in the cafeteria today sitting with the new kid Owen, stay away from him, he is bad news." Kyle says looking dead in my eyes. "Omg Kyle, stop being so judgmental and give him a chance he is a good guy!" I turn and rush up stairs before Kyle was able to say anything.

I enter my room and threw my bag on to the study desk and head straight to the bathroom to change my clothes into something more comfortable.

The second Im out of the bathroom I hear my phone vibrate from my bag. I go and take it from my bag and see who it was from, it was a unknown number. I realize I never gave my number to anyone today. Curiously I open the message.

Hey Regina it's me Owen
Me:hey what's up?
Owen:nothing much
Me:how did u get my number? I don't remember giving it you am sorry
Owen:it's okay I asked Analia for it.
Me:ohh okay I gotta go I will text you later.

I lock my phone after texting Ana and not getting a respond to my text. Hey! Did u give my number to Owen today?

I go and start to complete my homework's that was given to me by different classes. I was disturbed by a knock on my bedroom door. "It's not locked come in" I shout to who ever is on the other side of my door.

The door opens to reveal Kyle coming in and leaning against the door frame with a slice of pizza in his hand. "I ordered pizza, do you want some?" Kyle generously offers. "Yeah sure why not". I leave my room with Kyle to head down stairs to the kitchen. I sat on the chair across from Kyle while grabbing a slice of pizza. Kyle and I were talking about how our day was.

We were interrupted by Kyle's phones ringtone. He excuse him self and head to the living room to take the call. I head to my room and check my phone to see a message from Analia.

Analia:what no, I didn't give him your number what are you talking about?
Me:never mind it's nothing  I say not wanting to think about how he got my number.
Analia:any news from Emma?
Me:no I didn't text her after. Wait Im gonna text in the group chat.
Group chat:
Me:hey em you there? Is you sister doing fine now?
Emma:hey gina! Amber is doing so much better now I can go to school tomorrow.
Analia:today was so boring without you em, we missed you so much.

I suddenly hear the front door open.

Me:hey guys I got to go my mum and dad are home.bye love you two

I closed the app in my phone locking it and rushing down stairs to meet my mum and dad. I see Kyle still on the couch still on the phone with someone. Not paying attention to him I start talking to my mum about how my day was and how everyone including Kyle being judgmental towards the new boy in my school. My mum also thought they were being unreasonable.

"Kids! Dinner will be ready in an hour"
I hear my mum says when I was leaving kitchen to head to the living room. When Kyle sees me enter the room he quickly ends his call. I take the TV remote and switch on Netflix and scroll through the movies to find a good one. When I found one I play it and Kyle comes and sit near me to watch the movie with me. We were disturbed by mum switching of the movie. "Did you two not hear me say dinner is ready?" Mum say keeping her both hands on her hips. "Yes?" Me and Kyle says at the same time with a shy smile. Mum lets out a giggle.

We walk into the kitchen to see dad already seated near the table.we all went and joined him near the table. We all were talking about random things. After we finish dinner I helped my mum clean up. I was heading up stairs when I hear a knock on my front door "I got it!" I say and ran to open the door. The door opened to reveal Emma standing there with her books in one hand. "Hey umm I was wondering if I can get today's works. Sorry for not letting you know before coming, but I did call you. You didn't pick up" Emma says awkwardly. "Em, it's fine you know your always welcome here. And yeah my phone is upstairs so I must have not heard it ring sorry". I say with a smile.

Emma enters and both of us head upstairs to my room to study.

***2 hours later***

"Hey! It's getting late I should go." Emma says and starts to pack her bag. "Yeah sure see you at school tomorrow" I say while helping her pack. After she was done packing she head out to get home before it was too late. I got into the bathroom after she left my room and took a shower, changed to night clothes and went to bed.
