10 months later.
Josh has been acting suspicious all day. He has been avoiding me. I asked everyone in the house but no one gave me a proper answer. Half of them said that he is working on something and the other half said that he is being like that all the time. I walked to Josh's room, he was looking through his stuff.
E- Hey you.
J- Hi.
E- You've been avoiding me all day, is everything alright?
J- Yeah, everything is fine.
E- Come on, be honest with me.
J- There is nothing going on. I'm being honest with you, do you not trust me?
E- Of course I do. Do you trust me?
J- Yeah, I do.
E- Then be honest with me. You never avoid me.
J- I'm serious, nothing is going on. I'm going out with Bryce and Blake. I'll see you later.
E- Fine, do whatever you want.
I didn't say anything else. I just got up and started walking away. I'm kinda mad at Josh. I mean he never acts like that. Josh ran after me.
J- Wait!
E- What?
He grabbed my waist and kissed me.
J- I love you.
I gave him a smile and I started heading to my room. Josh was just staring at me. I turned around and gave him another smile.
E- I love you too.
He smiled and walked back to his room.
I woke up the next day from Avani jumping on our bed.
Av- Wakey wakey.
E- Seriously Vani, it's like 5 AM.
Av- Get up, and put some clothes on.
E- Fine, I hate you.
Av- I love you.
I grabbed a random hoodie and put it on.
Av- Seriously, something fancier.
I groaned and started looking through my dresses. I ended up wearing a white one.
E- Do I look good in this one?
Av- Yes, now come here.
Avani blindfolded me. I stayed quiet. Avani grabbed my shoulders and started leading me somewhere.
We stopped somewhere. She made me sit inside a car.
E- Are you kidnapping me?
Av- No.
I remained quiet. After about a 10 minutes drive, I felt someone grabbing my hips. They helped me get out of the car. I was still blindfolded. Once I got up, they grabbed me by my waist and started leading me somewhere. I was nervous, I was 100% positive that the person that was with me was Josh but I still didn't say anything. They removed the blindfold. I turned around and saw Josh standing there.
E- Hey.
J- Hi.
I looked around. We were on a beach. It was empty. I could see the sun rising.
E- Why did you bring me here?
He looked nervous. He scratched the back of his head.
J- Here goes nothing. I've been planning this for days. First of all, I would like to apologize for ignoring you the past few days. We've been through so much together, but we always get through everything. All thanks to you. You are the strongest girl I know, you are kind, caring, I could keep going forever but I won't. Every time I look at your eyes, I see the girl I want to spend the rest of my life with. Whenever I think of my future, you are always in it. Whenever you smile, you give me butterflies. You are the love of my life, Ellie.
He pulled out a small box, he stood on one knee. I placed my hands over my mouth.
J- Ellie Hall, will you marry me?
I nodded. He stood up and picked me up. He kissed me. Out of nowhere, all my friends appeared and started cheering.
E- Oh my god. I'm engaged.
Bryce approached me and gave me the biggest hug.
B- MY SISTER IS GETTING MARRIED.
I laughed and hugged him. Avani ran up to me and hugged me. I then turned to Josh and pulled him in for another kiss. This is unbelievable. I'm engaged to the love of my life.
