"Snitches get stitches." Jirou whistled to Kirishima as they walked through the school hall.

"I know, I know," Kirishima responded. He looked over at the dark purple-haired girl. "Why are you coming then?"

"She's curious to see what the principal will say," Sero answered for her. "Agh... I feel bad for doing this. Can't we just wait until we can contact Aizawa again?"

"I want to know as soon as possible! And if you feel bad then why are you coming too? Why are any of you coming?"

"To make sure you don't say anything false." Iida said. "And partially because Uraraka said she was interested in the matter. I'm also coming on behalf of Bakugo."

"Really? Bakugo?"

"He has family problems to take care of, so he couldn't come. He does care for Kaminari in his own... aggressive way."

"I'm coming so if Kaminari gets mad we can both share the blame." Sero replied. He flash a bright smile, contrasting Kirishima's face that immediately got anxious.

"Oh, well thanks dude..." The thought of ruining his friendship with Kaminari hadn't really crossed Kirishima's mind.

A bad feeling quelled inside his stomach..

With a mountain of pressure dropping in on him, Kirishima opened Nezu's office door and walked in with the others.

"Uh, Principal Nezu?" Kirishima called out. The fluffy creature popped his head out from under the desk.

"What can I do for you?" Nezu asked as they stepped into the room. "I'm afraid I don't have any tea prepared right now."

"That's fine," Kirishima said. The bad feeling grew. "I wanted to talk to you about.... Kaminari..."

"Kaminari Denki?"

"Yeah, him."

"All of you?"

"Mhm."

"So, what is it?"

The feeling spread so badly Kirishima had to clench his stomach now.

Kirishima inhaled tightly.

"He's... beensneakingout at night."

Nezu stopped midway in grabbing a tea kettle off the heater. "What?"

Kirishima hoped his friends would pop in and say something, but this was all on him.

"He's been leaving somewhere at night... I don't know where, but I think it's somewhere off UA."

The principal blinked and resumed to pour steaming tea into five cups. He set one cup each down in front of the students, and one for himself.

"The security here never ceases to disappoint me." He said with an oddly straight face. He took a sip of tea.

Jirou casually drank from her cup. "What's going to happen?"

Iida stepped in. "We've tried direct confrontation, but he won't tell us anything. We do know it's connected somehow with this earring he carries around."

Nezu looked at a document in his hand thoughtfully.

"Looks like we'll have to monitor him now," Nezu said. "I'll get Aizawa to talk to him when he comes back. In the meantime, don't do anything stupid, and don't tell him about our talk."

"What? Why not?" Kirishima asked.

Nezu smiled a little too cheerfully.

"You'll know soon enough."

Uncertainty infected the four students sitting in the room.

"Anyways! Thanks for the information! Come back when I tell you to."

After seeing off the principal, it felt like a weight was lifted off their backs. A feeling of guilt couldn't help but spread though them.

"Good thing Kaminari won't know get mad at us. Wait, is that a good thing? The principal won't kill him right?" Sero asked, ruining his own attempt at lightening the mood.

"Of course not!" Iida answered. "Killing a student would severely damage UA's nearly pristine reputation!"

"Chill out, it's a figure of speech," Jirou said. She frowned when she heard 'nearly.' "Back to Kaminari, we'll finally figure out what he's hiding. As long as he's not killing or selling drugs or something, it'll be fine."

"Jirou! How could you think that Kaminari would murder or sell drugs?"

"FIGURATIVE LANGUAGE!"

"What if he's part of a gang?" Sero wondered out of the blue. "Maybe it's a gang that moves out at night and the earring is a symbol!"

"But wouldn't that mean he would sell drugs or murder?"

"I don't think all gangs do that. In middle school, there was this random gang of students who hanged after school."

"That's a clique, not a gang."

"Wait you're telling me they aren't the same?"

"Of course they aren't the same! Everybody knows the difference between a gang and a clique!"

"Please stop talking about fake scenarios with no solid evidence about our classmate who clearly does not murder or sell drugs." Iida interrupted.

Kirishima exhaled heavily.

Please say they were all overthinking this.
