Humans are extremely selfish. You could call this hypocritical as I ,myself, am a god who can obtain things those work lifetimes for in a snap of my finger but if you just looked around you'd realise, I am correct.
My kind and I watch over them, throughout the the millions of years where they have been alive not a single day goes by where one of my own mutter or shake their head disapprovingly at one of their stunts.
All of what we gifted them was to create life, to share, to blossom. Yet they take and they deceive for the benefit of them and them only whilst singing false claims about how their dirty deeds are for the greater good prancing around the soil and tainting it with the bitter poison that are those lies.
It is almost humorous to watch them destroy and steal causing more destruction then satisfaction, many don't even realise they are doing so. Calling them a complicated species would be a very large understatement.
However, despite the constant years of failures and victory's. Wars and Alliances. Pain and comfort. Deceiving smirks and genuine smiles. It does feel rather heartbreaking to watch their short time of existing come to an end.
Me and the rest of my kind cannot feel much emotion, or at least these emotions that the humans have come up with. Our feelings are on a much deeper level, we express ourselves through things such as the alignments of the stars or the ever changing path of the universe. It is far too advance for any earth-walking species to comprehend let alone understand. Some even say that their simple brains they rely on so much would simply implode from hearing the hushed whispers of everything and nothing's existence all at once. Maybe it is for the best that the starts calls fall upon death ears when it comes to them.
Following along with this, it seems that the humans believe we share many similarities with them they believe we look just like them and are only drawn apart by the clouds in our sky and the "power" coursing through us.
It is true that we do hold mesmerising power like most seem to think, however the self centred theories of them having a variety similarities with us is nothing short to completely and utterly false. Although we do ,at times, take it upon ourselves to alter and change our appearances to look like them more so out of curiosity then want. We couldn't be more different to them even if we tried.
For example we're not so much a body or anything truly, most of us are balls of light and energy with certain shades to mark each part of us our forms do not have the clumsy stumps that are legs and arms or the strange gaps that provide vision or sound. We're simply a beautiful presence that is able to release its thoughts whenever we please into the mind of those who are nearby. We do not have this gender or this race that humans speak of quite frankly if we did it surely wouldn't make a difference, in our minds existence is a mesmerising thing that should be treasured so anyone not matter their uniqueness is nothing more then stunning. Unfortunately those down their do not agree, I know so due to watching innocent peoples lives being taken too short just for being them making the star patterns change constantly in confusion as we all question.
"Why is it a problem to exist differently? Is it worse than not existing at all?"
So linking up from the beginning of my mental monologue. Humans are indeed very selfish and cruel and overall simple minded but, watching them now as the entire races final moments are mere minutes away, the paths in the universe and the constellations patterned in the sky waver and stumble in an uncoordinated fashion. It drips heavily with sadness.
You can see the hidden emotions of their kind compassion, kindness, empathy bleeding into each section of the earth like dye in liquid. Mothers comforting and singing their fussing children to sleep. Fathers reminiscing on the memories they shared with their children, or the ones they didn't. Lonesome strangers being welcomed by groups as a last chance of human comfort. People of many finally contacting abandoned beloveds to give their first and last goodbyes after a what must've been a very long time.
