𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗟𝗘 𝗗𝗔𝗥𝗞 𝗔𝗚𝗘 ─ zuko

" HELP , OH GOD SOMEONE PLEASE , HELP ME "  screamed the [ hair color ] - ed girl towards the two brunettes . if you didn't know better you would think that she's in danger , that she's just another lost soul seeking help . her silky hair was fluttering in the wind as if they were dancing with the breeze .

" jesus christ , [ name ] ! stop yelling , you're going to scare the fish away and then i am going to be the one who's going to get grounded for not bringing anything back . "  sighed one of the brunettes . SOKKA , that was his name . he was the only male old enough to fight the fire nation .

THE FIRE NATION . oh how much they were hated . taking so many innocent lives , destroying so many villages , wiping out tribes after tribes after tribes .

just thinking about them gives everyone a shiver on their backs . for one hundred years people have lived in fear . the thought that they could be the next victims never leaving their heads , the thought of loosing their families , friends was too much .  if only the avatar was here .

" [ me . . . AME . . . NAME ] ! "  the same boy said , he has been trying to snap the girl out of her trance for about five minutes now .  he was even starting to loose hope that she would ever hear him .

"  WHAT ? i mean , what's wrong sokka ? why are you calling for me ? " the girl questions whilst raising one of her eyebrows . curiosity filled her .

" geez , calm your icicles , lady . i just wanted to ask you the reason as to why you were yelling earlier . " asked the boy . he knew that the other loved to scare them from time to time but she usually had a good reasoning behind it .

" i don't know . i just got bored . fishing is boring , right katara ? "

KATARA , the other brunette on the boat , sokka ' s little sister and a waterbender turned around . a scowl forming on her face stating that neither did she find the yelling amusing in any form . 

" [ name ] , that wasn't a funny joke . "  stated the waterbender , crossing her arms and starting to scold the older girl . she's always been a bit on the motherly side , but don't tell her that .

" [ oh come on ! what else am i supposed to do ? help sokka fish ? i don't even know how to fish ! "

" well that's because you're a girl . girls don't do this type of things , they stay at home , sew , cook , clean , take care of children and wait for their husbands to come home . not fish . " huffed the boy .  sokka was always like this . he believed that women are fragile , weak and soft , while men were tough , powerful and well , manly .

" of course you'd say that . " sighed [ name ] . she knew that katara would start and scold the boy . speaking of katara , what was she doing , and more importantly , why isn't she scolding her brother ?

[ name ] looked over her shoulder only to be met with the other girl's back , she seemed to be waterbending  a fish towards the boat .

" sokka , look ! " exclaimed katara .

" shh , katara . you're gonna scare it away like [ name ] did earlier .  mm , i can already smell it cooking ! " said sokka , the thought of roasted fish making him lick his lips in anticipation .

" but sokka , i caught one . "  insisted the other sibling .

she slowing started to move the water bubble closer and closer towards her brother , only for him to pop it when moving his spear to catch another fish . 

a small ' hey ' left katara ' s mouth as the water splashed all over her brother , leaving [ name ] to giggle at the scene . in some way or another , sokka always ended up wet when she waterbended  .  the boy started complaining about it once more . making  [ name ] doze off . perhaps a small nap wouldn't hurt anybody .

crushing , moaning , fast movements , katara ' s screaming of ' go left ' and the freezing water that filled her lungs were enough to finally wake [ name ] up .  opening her eyes , she saw nothing but blue . her lungs were screaming for help , making her realize that she was underwater .  quickly kicking her legs , the girl manages to swim towards the surface , climbing up on a piece of ice .

" [ NAME ] , OH MAN I'M SO GLAD THAT YOU'RE ALIVE ! " yelled sokka . the male saw her fall in the water , but he was too slow to get her . the panic that he had before , washed away after seeing the girl laying on the ice piece next to his and his sister's .

" you call that left ? " scolded katara .

" you don't like my steering . well , maybe you should have waterbended us out of the ice . " argued the boy .

" so it's my fault . "

" i knew i should've let you home . leave it to a girl to screw things up . " noted the now sad male .

a well too known eyebrow twitch . katara ' s eyebrow to be exact , it only happened when she was extremely pissed or angry . this wasn't going to end pretty .

" you are the most sexist , immature , nutbrained — ah ! i'm embarrassed to be related to you ! " a crack was heard . the iceberg behind her started cracking . " ever since mom died , i've been doing all the work around camp while you've been off playing solider . "

" uhm , katara . . . " trembled sokka and [ name ] .

" i even wash all the clothes ! have you ever smelled your dirty socks ? let me tell you ! NOT . PLEASANT . "

more cracks . she was doing this . she was going to make the iceberg break . sokka ' s and [ name ] ' s warnings fell on deaf ears as the ice finally broke once the girl shouted for a final time .

shock was written all over her face . how did she manage to do that ? her waterbending was not powerful enough . maybe her anger helped ? whatever it was , it surely left all three of them speechless .

as [ name ] started to open her mouth , the water started glowing . something bright and blue was making its way up . another iceberg . but a different one , a glowing one .

the currents started pushing it slowly from right to left , as if to show them what secrets it held or in this case who it held in it . 

the siblings were stunned by the glowing structure , they've never seen anything like this in their entire life . where did it come from ?

on the other hand , [ name ] was inspecting it . it looked like she knew that she would find something interesting if she looked hard enough and luckily , she did . she found something she never expected to see .

SOKKA HERE , i hope that you guys enjoyed the first actual chapter of this book . it took me an hour to write and quite frankly i didn't even notice . i never thought that writing can be so fun . i am here to say that , there may be spelling errors and i apologize .
ANYWHO ,  i do not know when the next update will be . i guess that we'll just have to wait and see , right ? i now wish you a good day | night . goodbye , see you guys later .
