She sat on the chair for hours. Honestly all sorts of pain started to kick in. She could feel the pain bursting within her, slowly and carefully. She wanted to die. It's what she wanted. Blood started splattering over the floor."Please!" She yelled. She struggled to get out of the chair trying to leave. A man entered the tent, she looked up. Bedivere appeared, he held a mischievous look on. "Hello, Viking Princess." He taunted her. Immediately she growled at him, in anger.
"Your lunatic!" She screamed trying to break free. He laughs it out. "You're so lucky you're a Viking Princess. I would have cut that tongue out of you." She moved uncontrollably trying not to hear his movements. She hated him. She wanted him dead.
"You can't be serious in serving them? Your a murder!" She screamed rolling in pain, she began to move leaving him to scoff.
"Honestly you're the weakest Viking, I knew!" He laughed it out. She couldn't take it anymore. "You think you're cleansing but you ain't! He is using you!" Immediately she watched as his eyes looked intrigued. "No. He isn't. We're helping people!"
"You'd see it all. You're brainwashed. You can't possibly be serious. You see what the red paladins do. How could they stand by them?" He asked. Immediately he laughed. "I could. I will. I grew up thinking that the red paladins are doing this for the greater good. The people basically worship it."
Her eyes widen. She is horrified to learn of this. He must be mad. "You're the worst of them all!" He ran up to her grabbing her by the chin, holding it tightly. "I'm not worst. I'm simply following my father orders!"
"Father?" She asked. He rolled his eyes. "Father Carden is my biological father, he taught me the ways and I believed him." No wonder he didn't answer. No wonder he tried to kill her when they first met, he was only a boy. "You can't be serious." She muttered shocked.
He smiled letting go of her chin walking to the other side of the room. Intrigued, he began to make his way towards her. She swallowed fearing what's happening. Soon after, he leaned towards her cheek, carelessly touching it giving her chills. "My father is making a deal with King Cumber and Eydis to make sure you married me. You're going to be betrothed to me." When he said those words, she immediately felt her whole body shut down. She looked at him from top to bottom. He was wearing an armor suit looked angry. She could tell he didn't want this but he is enjoying tormenting her.
"You're going to be my wife." Wife? She is barely eighteen. Immediately, when he leaned in to place a kiss on her lips, she turned her head to the side refusing for him to touch her anywhere. He leaned back, amused. "No matter. Once we're married, I can do anything with you." She looked at him with fearful eyes, turning mad. An anger erupted within her. How dare he speak to her like this!
"I'm no ordinary girl you can treat like a doll!" She spitted at him causing him to fall back, amused. He was about to lean forward to slap her across the face only to be knocked onto the floor. She looked up to see someone had saved her.
It was him.
The weeping monk.
"What are you doing here?" She looked at him fearful, shocked. He saved her again. He simply didn't even look at her and began to untie all the ropes, as soon as she was free, she didn't move looking at him shocked. Why was he saving her? What is going on? Taking one last look at Bedivere who was unconscious on the floor. She looked at the weeping monk once more, he looked at her outstretching in his hand.
"Come with me!" He asked, waiting for her to grab his hand. She didn't. She looked at him and still did not understand why he was saving her. She is lost and doesn't know who to trust. Why is he doing this?
"Why are you helping me?" She asked. "No time for questions. Come now." He begged her. "I beg of you, come with me." She didn't know what to do. Trust him?
"Come with me. We can save your little friend." Her eyes widen, Squirrel. "Oh god, Squirrel!" She yelled ready to make her way to save him, only to still see his hand reaching out to her. She looked at him unsure what to do. Will she accept his gesture?
"I won't hurt you. Trust me."
