Obsivian

I launched myself at the door as soon as it opened, trying to barge through and make good my escape, but of course I ended up barrelling into Felix. He didn't even flinch, but I was knocked back, almost falling onto my arse if he hadn't grabbed my wrists.

"Alright then, little lioness, lets calm down, shall we?" He said, trying to hold me still. I knew I couldn't escape, but now I felt like he was insulting my pride, so I started to kick at his shins. It still didn't seem to affect him. He just sighed and began to pull me along, out of the room and down the hall. I stopped moving, going limp, and he almost dropped me.

"I thought you wanted to get out!" He said, glaring down at me. I gave him my most infuriating smirk.

"Well now I've changed my mind." Felix closed his eyes, visibly trying to hold onto his temper, before hauling me up and tossing me over his shoulder. Instantly, I started to wriggle like an eel, kicking until he pinned my legs and raining blows down on his back as he carried me away. Where were his kidneys? I knew from experience that getting hit in them hurt. If only I had taken an anatomy class at some point-

"Ow! You little-" He roared when I found the spot, dropping me off his shoulder and grabbing my arms to stop me from running off, shaking me roughly, though it wasn't enough to wipe the satisfied grin for my face. "Do that again, and I'll knock you out." He threatened. Thing is, he was taking me somewhere, so someone wanted me for something, that I would most likely need to be conscious for.

"Go on then, cos I'll definitely do it again." I challenged him. He scowled at me, but didn't hit me again, grabbing my shoulders and spinning me around, twisting my arms back and holding me by the wrist.

"Right, we can do it like this then. Go limp and I will just drag you." I knew from experience that that could dislocate my shoulder, so I reluctantly started to walk, still trying to trip him with every other step.

"Where- are- you- taking me?" I asked between sabotage attempts that he easily side stepped, deciding to stop when we reached a double story set of stairs, because sending the big man tumbling down them while holding onto me would most likely be bad for my health.

"To see Obsivian." At that, my legs stopped working and I almost fell if it weren't for Felix dragging me upright. I forced myself to keep going, but I knew that he had seen my stutter.

"Does he have an appointment? I only see people by appointment!" I protested, beginning to dig in my heels a little.

"You have a lot of bravado, little lioness." He commented with a laugh.

"It is not bravado!" I yelled out the lie, struggling more and more, even snapping my teeth in an attempt to bite him as he hauled me before a grand set of intricately carved double doors. There was something behind it, I could feel it, raw power and darkness pulsing just out of my sight, and I knew that it was Obsivian. In the Tir Na Gog, there were journals that Mr Consequences had written about the other children of the elements, the ones before who had died at the dark mage's hand, and this was exactly what he had been able to pull from their shattered minds.

I went quiet as Felix knocked on the door and they swung slowly open, mind desperately searching for a quip or an insult to throw out to show that I wasn't as terrified as I was. Nothing came, and soon he was pushing me forward into an ornate dining hall, gold gilding everywhere and a brilliant painting on the ceiling that I was focusing all my attention on so I didn't have to look at the man sat at the table-

No, Sadie. You aren't a coward. Dig in your heels and never show weakness!

I looked Obsivian in the eyes and my blood ran cold. Technically, he looked fairly normal, if a tad pale. His hair was dark and long, features nothing much to talk about, and though he was dressed poshly, it wasn't even out of place for the time period. His hands and neck were covered in various tattoos that I vaguely recognised from other mages I had run into over the years, and he had a shimmering piece of obsidian attached to a leather thong wrapped tightly around his neck.
