Chapter 1- We are at war, Recruiting and Files

My name gets yelled from across the room and I groan out loud. I look up to see Agent Coulson motioning for me to follow him. My lungs slightly burn from the thirty miles I just ran around the track. I developed a serum, just like the one Captain America had, but with a few more changed. I have powers. Yes, I developed the super soldier serum. 

I can do many things. I can heal things like Humans, animals and more. I can recreate destroyed things. If a wood land got destroyed by a fire, I could make it filled with trees again. I can control the elements and block people from my mind, but also communicate to them by the mind. I can also transfer emotions to them.

I am a trained fighter and used to the worst conditions. I was in the Army. I also have several degrees in science.

I walk up to meet Agent Coulson who has a rag and water bottle in his hands. I grab them and wipe down my face and chest because I'm sweating like I just ran thiry miles, oh wait I did. I grab the water bottle and drink it slowly. Phil motions for me to walk and talk, so I follow quietly while chugging down the water.

"We have meet up with Director Fury and Agent Hill soon. He wants you to be with us and we'll be checking in on some problems with Project Pegasus and some Phase Two talk. Get changed and meet me in ten at the landing pad." We stop at my room and he turns to me.

"Pack a bag and give it to me before we start talking and walking." He says and looks down at me. I nod my head, showing him that I understand his orders. 

Phil is like a father to me. My parents died when I was five and Phil found me trying to beg a lady for food. My parents died in front of me with bullets to the forehead. I grew up that day. I didn't shed a fricken tear, I didn't do anything, but begin living a life on my own. Phil got me and took me with him to SHIELD. They kept me on Phil's pleading and Phil let me live with him.

I go into my room and pick my black duffle from the corner of my closet. It has a S.H.I.E.L.D logo on the side of it, along with my name. I take a few training clothes and my fire resistant cat suits. I have a few in case something happens or someone needs a quick fix.

I grab a photo of Phil and I then grab my cell phone. I walk from the room and out to meet Phil. He hands my bag to a guy and we begin walking to the heli-pad.

We stand there and Phil puts his dark shades on. He then takes a pair out of his jacket and hands it to me. He knows I always forget them. People will actually come up and comment me thinking he is my dad. He was going to adopt me, but being his daughter would put me in danger.

Suddenly a helicopter comes and sets down on the pad. Director Nick Fury steps out and  then his right hand women steps out. Agent Maria Hill, she was the mom figure to me.

We gather and I quickly side hug Maria. We then walk in with me between Phil and Maria. We all walk fast to the Project Pegasus room where malfunctions are happening. As we walk, Fury finally speaks.

"How bad is it?" He says his leather coat flowing behind him as he walks and he looks so in charge and control. I can only wish to look like that to the people around me. I tend to act childish sometimes. What? Stop staring at me like that. Fine I tend to act childish a lot, but that doesn't mean that I'm not mature. I am a super soldier now, of course. I am also one of the best minds behind Bruce Banner and Reed Richards. Tony Stark is behind me.

"That's the problem, sir. We don't know." Phil pauses "Dr. Selvig read an energy surge from the Tesseract four hours ago." Phil says and I get a little worried. We always know what's going on even if it is just occuring. We also aren't in the testing phase of the Tesseract.
