Chapter 8- Proof of your love, Kissing and off the grid.

Joy P.O.V

I watch the group gathering around Thor and Loki and then a black figure after I send tornados around Loki. I suddenly see an imposter of me. My mouth drops open in shock. Who would do this, who would torture them with another me?

I set myself on fire and fly as fast as I can at the figure. I knock them over and slam my fist into their face. I turn to the imposter of me and shoot flames and they do the same thing back, making me scream in pain. I make a bucket of water above her and it lands on her taking her flames. She does the same thing and I back flip out of the way and shoot flames at the imposter making her into ashes. I turn to the group.

"You guys are idiots." I laugh at them. "I'm a healer for goodness sakes." I hop into the air and fly around them laughing at their expressions. I then land in front of them with all of them staring at me.

"My name is Joy Everglade and I survived the Battle of Manhattan." I smile at them and their mouths drop. "Need some proof?" I ask them and they nod. "Angel with a shotgun." I smile and they continue staring. "Okay, something drastic?" They nod again. I smile. "This is going to take a lot of bravery." I walk up to Steve and place my lips on his and it takes a few seconds for him to respond. He wraps his arms around my waist and deepens is. I pull back from him.

"You're Joy." Steve says and I laugh and smile. I walk over to Bee and Bucky.  

"How's he been these past few days?" I ask them and Bucky looks down at me. He pulls me in for a hug.

"Depressed. He told me he was going to ask you out on a date after the alien invasion." I smile at him.

"That's sweet." I walk over to Clint and Natasha. She quickly pulls me in for a hug.

"It was so empty without you." She says and I laugh. She pulls back and Clint quickly pulls me in for a hug.

"Natasha was so mean without you. How do you deal with her when you guys are alone?" Clint says as a tease for Natasha. She slaps him on the arm when he lets go of me. I walk over to Thor.

"Hey big guy." Loki stand next to him. "You have to come back for pop tarts sometime. I'll make sure to have a few boxes waiting for you." I say and Thor pulls me in for a bone crushing hug alone with Loki. I can see how much Loki dislikes it. "...and you. Try to stay out of trouble, but I bet that's hard for you person of Lies and Mischief." I say and I can imagine his famous smirk. "You know, I bet you had more fun on the battle field then we did." I laugh and Loki lets a little nod slip. I walk back to Steve and stand on his right.

"You have no idea how much I missed you." Steve says and I smile.

"I bet I do." I say and he looks down at me. "I missed you too." He lets out his famous smile and I wrap an arm around his waist and he does the same thing. We watch Thor and Loki leave in a colorful blur.

I talk to each of them and promise to meet up. We are left with Bucky, Bee, Steve and I. We walk together in a group. We stay silently enjoying the weather even though New York was in ruins.

"Who knew we'd have a group of super soldiers." I say randomly looking around the scene. They all nod in agreement. Bucky goes over and talks to Steve and I talk to Bee.

"So how are you and Bucky? Don't worry I only read your mind the first time we met." I say and she laughs.

"Great actually. We've helped each other through a lot of things." She says and smile.

"Sounds like true love. No ring yet? I thought he would right after New York. He doesn't look like he can live without you." I say smiling.

"Oh yes, he would fail without me and not yet. I would hope so though." She says and we laugh. Steve and Bucky come over and wraps arms around our waists.

"What are you beautiful women talking about?" Bucky says and I laugh a little more.

"How much you'd fail without Bee in your life." I say and Bucky looks down at Bee.

"That is completely... True." He says and we all let out a laugh.

"So now that this is all done. Saved the world and you know. What are you going to do?" I ask them.

"Well I don't know. Something good, I know it will happen." Bucky says and I nod.

"You both deserve something good." I say.

"Can I talk to you?" Bucky says and I nod. He pulls me over where he and Steve were. "I'm planning on proposing to Bee. I need your help with planning." He says and I nod.

"Why don't you do something from the decade you were from." I pause. "That sounds rude. I mean do something like what you used to do. Get her in a dress from the forties. I heard the Stork club is still open." I smirk and Bucky nods.

"You're a genius." He hugs me again. "Can you give me your number so I can talk to you?" He says and pulls out his phone.

"Sure. Here it is. You have gotten used to technology now." I laugh. "I think you need to teach Steve some things." Bucky laughs and nods.

"You aren't going to be with him?" Bucky says and I sigh running a hand through my hair.

"I don't know where I'm going after this. We are threats to the world now as the Security Council would say. Were either going to be free, put in a cell or killed." I say and Bucky looks down.

"I would just go off the grid for a while. Get married with Steve there. You can always renew your vows with the team there. I am absolutely sure she'll say yes, Bucky. She is hopelessly in love with you." I say and Bucky smiles.

"She is isn't she?" He smirks and I punch him in the shoulder.

"Okay call me with whatever you need. I will contact you with what the council decides and if it is bad you can keep off the grid. I'll always be there to protect you both." I say and we walk back over. They both leave on motorcycles and I look over at Steve.

"You know you can come with me." Steve says as he places his hands on my hips.

"I think I'm going off the grid for a while." I say and Steve frowns.

"Why?"

"Because we don't know what the council will do to us. We are threats, always have been. You should go off the grid. Go with Bucky and Bee, but I heard what he's doing. I don't know what to do?" I say and Steve pulls me in for a hug.

"We can go off the grid together." He says and looks down at me. I pull him in for a kiss and speak against his lips.

"I would like that." He kisses me again and I ride with him off the grid for a while. We might have some adventures.
