Storm Hawks: Alien VS Predator

Chapter Six - Caught In The Crossfire

After forming an alliance with Commander Orion and the Cyclonians, the Storm Hawks along with Carth began navigating through the narrow corridors of the temple. As they did, they kept their eyes open for the Xenomorphs. Stork's paranoia was at an all time high. 

Stork: I always knew I would die like this.....

Aerrow: We'll be fine, Stork. 

Finn: Not gonna lie, but I'm starting to side with Stork! This is way out of our league!

Carth: We need to stick together. No matter what happens, we have to stick together. 

Orion: I agree. These creatures will try to divide us as to pick us off one by one. We cannot allow them to split us up. 

With that, the Storm Hawks and Carth as well as the Cyclonians continued to stay together. Knowing the Xenomorphs could come from anywhere, everyone kept their guard up at all times. As they moved through the corridors, Radarr chirped in Aerrow's ear. 

Aerrow: Yeah...I hear you....

As they walked through the corridors, they were stalked by a group of Xenomorphs hiding in the shadows. They waited until a mistake was made. As they crept from the shadows, Junko spotted something moving from the shadows.

Junko: Guys! Something's here!

As Junko said this, everyone got their weapons ready. As they did, a Xenomorph readies it's tail impaled a nearby Talon. The Talon's dying screams alerted everyone. 

Orion: Open fire! 

The Talons fired their blasters as Carth fired his Plasma Castor. Soon enough, the rest of the Xenomorphs began attacking. Aerrow led the Storm Hawks in defending Carth as well as the Cyclonians. 

Piper: They're everywhere! 

Carth quickly realized that the narrow corridors was the worst place to be in this situation.

Carth: We need to fall back now! These corridors are too narrow! Orion! Have your men fall back! 

Orion: Talons! Fall back and maintain defensive positions!

As the group fell back, the Talons as well as Carth fired on the Xenomorphs to cover their escape. In the midst of this chaos, Stork attempts to run to the exit, but runs straight into what appeared to be an invisible wall. The invisible wall turned out to be one of the Elite Predators. As the three Predators uncloaked, the Storm Hawks were in a state of shock. 

Piper: The Hunters.....

Aerrow readied his Twin Energy Blades and lunged at Dark, but he pushes him aside. Dark then readies a Combi Stick and prepares to throw it at an unsuspecting Carth. 

Piper: Carth! Look out!

As Piper warned Carth, the Predator throws the Combi Stick. Carth was able to duck just in time as the Combi Stick impales a nearby Talon. Thunder prepares his Plasma Castor and fires on the group. 

Aerrow: We need to fall back! 

Stork: Yes! Please! We're going to die! We're going to die!

Ghost activates his Wristblades and lunges at the Xenomorphs. Dark soon joins his comrade as they cut down Xenomorphs and any Talons unfortunate enough to stand in their way. The Storm Hawks soon found themselves caught in the crossfire as the Predators and Xenomorphs clashed. The Storm Hawks soon found themselves face to face with Thunder. 

Finn: This isn't good.....

Without warning, Thunder began to attack them with his Wristblades. Despite the numbers being against him, Thunder was able to take on the Storm Hawks with ease. Junko tackles Thunder and attacks him with his Knucklebusters, but Thunder quickly overpowers the Wallop and begins to beat him down. 

Finn: Let him go, ugly!

Finn then shoots his Energy Crossbow at Thunder, hitting him in the side. Thunder roars in pain as he throws Junko at Finn. Thunder then yanks the arrow out and turns his attention to Aerrow and Piper. Thunder attacks them with unrelenting ferocity. Despite their best efforts, Aerrow and Piper were unable to overcome the immense strength of Thunder. As Thunder was about to finish off the Storm Hawks, a Xenomorphs pounces on Thunder and begins clawing at him. As Thunder fights off the Xenomorph, Carth runs up to the Storm Hawks. 

Carth: We need to leave now! 

Aerrow: R...right! Storm Hawks! Fall back! 

As the Storm Hawks recovered, they began to retreat from the corridors while the Predators fought the Xenomorphs. As they did, Orion points out something he noticed. 

Orion: The weapon that the Hunter used bears a striking resemblance to the one you're using, Sky Knight.  

Carth: You're not the only one who noticed. We better get a move on. 

Finn: What the hell were those guys?! They totally just wiped the floor with us!

Piper: Those...those must be the Hunters. 

At this point, it began to make sense to Carth. He soon pieced together as to why the Predators were here. 

Carth: The energy signal....that's what brought them here. 

Piper: But why are they here? 

Carth: No idea. Let's just hope we can avoid them for as long as we can. 

With that, the Storm Hawks and Carth along with Orion and the Cyclonians continued to make their way through the Temple to find a way to end the Xenomorph threat. Meanwhile, the Predators finished off the last of the Xenomorphs. During the fight, Thunder was wounded by a Xenomorph. Without hesitation, Thunder prepares a Health Shard. He takes the cylindrical container, pulling it apart into two pieces, and stabs himself in the body. Thunder roars in pain as the medicine heals Thunder's wounds. As Thunder's wounds healed, the Elite Predators regrouped and continued their hunt,
