Storm Hawks: Alien VS Predator

Chapter Ten - The Final Battle

After destroying the temple, the Storm Hawks and Dark find themselves cornered by the Xenomorph Queen. Aerrow sends Stork away to get the Condor. As the Xenomorph Queen snarls at them, everyone readies their weapons. 

Finn: Great! Just great! Just when you thought you wiped out those things, a bigger bug pops out!

Aerrow: We need to hold the line for as long as we can!

Finn: That's real easy for you to say! Last time I checked, we're literally fighting a giant killer bug from outer space! 

Piper: We have no other choice, Finn! We can't allow this creature to escape into Atmos!

As the Storm Hawks prepared to fight, Dark unsheathes his Wristblades and lunges at the Xenomorph Queen. He begins slashing at the Queen, but her thick hide proves difficult to puncture. Finn then begins shooting at the Queen with his Energy Crossbow while Junko begins punching at the Queen's gut with his Knucklebusters. Aerrow and Piper begin aiding Dark in his attack on the Xenomorph Queen, but the Xenomorph Queen proves difficult to kill. Meanwhile, Stork rushes to the Condor. Upon entering the Condor, Stork breathes a sigh of relief. 

Stork: Home sweet home! I knew you'd be here!

Stork begins to kiss the floor of the Condor. The Merb's bliss was broken by the screeching of the Xenomorph Queen. Knowing his friends were in danger, Stork sighs. 

Stork: I knew this would be the end of me. Oh sweet doom, why do you continuously abandon me?

Stork then runs to the cockpit of the Condor and starts it up. Meanwhile, Dark and the Storm Hawks continue to fight the Xenomorph Queen. During the attack, Junko manages to grab the Xenomorph Queen's tail and snaps it. 

Junko: I got the tail, guys!

The Xenomorph Queen screeches in pain as she grabs Junko and throws him against a nearby tree, knocking him unconscious. Finn continues to fire his Energy Crossbow, but the energy bolts bounce off the Xenomorph Queen's thick hide. 

Finn: You've got to be kidding me!

As Aerrow and Piper along with Dark continue to attack the Xenomorph Queen, Finn and Radarr rushed to the unconscious Junko. 

Finn: Junko! Junko! Wake up, buddy!

Junko slowly regains consciousness. 

Junko: Finn?

Finn: WAKE UP, BUDDY! WE GOT BAD TIMES! 

As the battle drags on, the Xenomorph Queen begins to gain the upper hand. Suddenly, the Condor begins to fly by and begins shooting at the Xenomorph Queen. The blaster fire does serious damage to the Xenomorph Queen, but fails to kill it. At this point, Piper gets an idea. 

Piper: Aerrow! We can lure the Queen to the Wastelands! 

Aerrow: That's a great idea! STORK! GET THE QUEEN TO FOLLOW YOU! 

Stork: WHAT?! ARE YOU INSANE?! 

Aerrow: TRUST ME! 

Left with no other choice, Stork continues piloting the Condor as the Storm Hawks along with Dark board the Condor. 

Stork: This is insane! 

Aerrow: This is the only way we can destroy the Queen! 

Dark then exits the Condor and climbs to the top and begins firing on the Queen with his Plasma Castor. The shots keeps the Queen's attention as she chases after the Condor. Soon enough, the Condor lures the Xenomorph Queen to the edge of Terra Gruesomus. The Condor then fires on the ground beneath the Xenomorph Queen. The ground breaks apart, causing the Xenomorph Queen to fall. However, the Xenomorph grabs on to the vines. 

Finn: What are you waiting for?! Shoot it!

Stork: I can't! The Condor's guns are overheated!

Without saying a word, Aerrow rushes outside and climbs to the top of the Condor. He then positions himself for a final shot. Aerrow then activates his Lightning Claw move and hits the Xenomorph in the head, causing it to lose her grip and plunges into the Wastelands. The Xenomorph Queen then plunges into the lava and is consumed by fire and dies screaming. Meanwhile, the Lightning Claw attack forces Aerrow to grab on to the vines. As the vines break apart, it seems Aerrow is about to meet the same fate. Suddenly, a strong arm grabs Aerrow and pulls him up. Aerrow looks to see Dark helping him. 

Aerrow: T...thanks.....

Dark was silent for a moment. He then hands Aerrow a strange looking antique pistol. Aerrow accepts the gift and nods his head. With his mission complete, Dark jumps into the sky and disappears. As the Storm Hawks join up with Aerrow, strong winds suddenly hit them as Dark's ship uncloaked. The ship then shoots into the sky, making the journey back home. With the Predators gone and the Xenomorphs wiped out, the Storm Hawks take a moment to process all that had just happened. 

Piper: So it's true....there's life on other worlds. 

Finn: I always knew aliens existed, but I didn't think we'd actually meet them....

Junko: So it's over? We...we saved Atmos?

Aerrow looked at the sky, knowing full well that Atmos was not alone in the universe. There were creatures from other worlds. Despite this, Aerrow simply smirked, knowing he helped save Atmos from catastrophe. 

Aerrow: That's right, Junko. We did it. 

Piper: What now?

Aerrow: We go home, Piper. We'll report to the Sky Council about what we found. 

Piper: What about those...creatures?

Aerrow: What creatures?

With that, Aerrow made it clear that he wanted to keep the existence of both the Xenomorphs and the Predators a secret so no one would try to recreate them. The Storm Hawks then departed from Terra Gruesomus to report to the Sky Council about what happened. With this, the Storm Hawks realized that they were not alone in the universe. Yet despite this, the Storm Hawks would continue to fulfil their duties as Sky Knights.
