Rarity was escorted through the lobby alongside Applejack in her hotel, she had to admit it was kind of a nice place. When they had gotten into the elevator Sweetie Belle could hardly contain her excitement.

"I can't believe I'm gonna see Apple Bloom! This is so awesome! Thank you Rarity and Applejack," she snuggled up against her sister.

Rarity patted her head lightly. "No problem, darling."
Rarity took a quick glance over at Applejack who was side eyeing her with a small smile. That's when Rarity noticed Applejacks freckles. They were so dainty compared to her strong personality. They looked like golden flecks against her tan skin and complimented her perfectly. Rarity had always admired her freckles before she had long forgotten about them. Noticing that Applejack had caught her staring for a bit too long made Rarity flinch and look away, her face heating up. She heard a light chuckle escape Applejacks lips and smiled a bit, still with her back turned.

Applejack's POV:

I noticed that Rarity was staring at my face for more than 10 seconds but I didn't say anything. Maybe she's just beginning to remember me, my family, and her life before Manhattan.

Once we had gotten to the room I fumbled with the card and eventually slid it in. I turned the knob slowly before I felt Sweetie Belle dart by me in a flash eager to see my sister.

"Sweetie!" Rarity hissed at her.

"Nah, she's fine," I assured Rarity gently touching her shoulder. She tensed up so I quickly took my hand off. I guess she's just not ready for friendly shoulder taps yet. Great, now I made it awkward.

We stepped inside to see our two sisters screaming and hugging each other. Rarity and me smiled at them and we made our way over.

"I can't believe you're really here! In Manhattan! Boy, if I'd known earlier I would've definitely came out here to visit sooner!" Apple Bloom exclaimed breaking the hug.

"Ugh I know!" Sweetie looked glum. "Rarity wouldn't let me tell anyone where we moved to."

We all looked at Rarity, Apple Bloom and I being confused.

"Uh...why didn't you let my sister stay in touch with Sweetie?" I asked quietly.

Rarity looked uncomfortable as she shifted in her shoes. "I-uh, erm."

I brushed it off and changed the subject.

"So what should the first bonding activity be girls?" I asked them.

They looked at each other than smiled brightly. "THE MALL!!!"

I groaned. "Really? Since when do you like the mall Apple Bloom?"

"Since like, forever," She replied aimlessly.

Just as I was about to ask since when was forever- Rarity squealed from behind in delight.

"Did you girls say you wanted to go to the mall!? Oh yes! Wonderful idea! I really need to check out this new store that just opened and they have the most stylish ensembles as well as shoes and-"

"Hold up," I stopped her mid sentence. "Am I the only one here that doesn't want to go to the mall?"

     "Eeyup, Apple Bloom said.

I looked at Rarity who's eyes were pleading me to go with them.

"Oh all right, fine. But we ain't stayin' the whole day ya hear AB?"
