Chapter Four - This is only a warning

My grandfather Hades and I went to my Aunt Evie's castle. Desyiree, Aunt Lonnie and Aunt Jane were also there. 

"Thank goodness, you're safe" she said engulfing me in a hug. "Everyone's been saying that" I laughed softly. "It's because your grandmother is the worst villain out there" spoke Aunt Lonnie. "I know, and I want to make sure she doesn't hurt anyone" "that's very noble Savannah but" "No buts Aunt Evie, I'm making my first proclamation to have a place to send people especially people like my grandmother where they cannot hurt anyone ever again. It will take the best of what my grandfather and grandmother did along with my mother and father. Some people have misused their second chances" "You are such your mother" she laughed.

"I just want to do what's best for Auradon. Everyone in this room is my family whether we're actually related or not" I stated. "She's right Evie, you have to fight for what you believe in and do what you need to do to protect your people. My mom risked her life for my grandfather and ended up saving an entire country, and I have no doubt you will protect all of Auradon" she spoke taking my hands in hers. "Thank you Aunt Lonnie" I smiled. "Of course little one." 

The door opened and in ran Charles and Duke. "What's wrong?" I asked noticing their demeanor. "There was an attack on Agrabah in Lone Keep" I looked at Desyiree then everyone else. "This is an attack on Auradon and knowing my grandmother it's a threat, we need to go an assess the damage" "Let Jay do that" spoke my grandfather Beast walk in with my grandmother, parents and Uncle Jay. 

"He's not going alone, and Auradon is going to be under my reign in a couple of months, I need to be there for the people" I protested. "Savannah" my dad growled. "Trust me, if you're trusting me with the kingdom in four months you have to trust me now. Besides Grand Papi said it will only take a matter of instincts for my powers to reach full strength." "Baby, we" "Mom please let me go" I looked at my grandfather Hades, Jay then Lonnie.

"If she goes, so do I" spoke Desyiree. "And so will we" added in Charles and Duke. I smiled. "Please let me try, I need to learn and fail all on my own, I can't be protected from my grandmother forever" I spoke softly. 

My grandmother Belle took my hands and looked at my grandfather and dad "she's right, we need to trust her. Our sweet Savannah Rose is growing up. She's Auradon's first born queen. People will listen and trust her more when she takes the throne if she steps up now" I smiled. 

"Mom's right, we need to let you try. Mal, Hades and Jay go with her. The rest of us will stay here" spoke my dad. I hugged him "thank you" "of course princess" he said kissing the top of my head.

"Well guess you four will be needing these" spoke my Aunt E coming in with outfits. I smiled. She handed us each our outfit. We went and put them on. I threw my hair up in a ponytail. I looked at my outfit. It was white with gold, navy and purple accents. The crest was a dragon wrapping it's tail around a rose. I walked out and saw my friends.

Desyiree's was red with yellow and coral accents. Her crest was a snake and caged cricket. As for Charles his was black with red, blue and pink with a crest of a bone and wand in an X formation. Finally Duke's was green with navy and red accents his crest was a diamond with a crown on top. Everything about us was a perfect mix of our parents, Auradon and Isle.

"Let's go" I spoke. Everyone nodded. There were horses and motor bikes outside. I hopped up on a horse. Des and Charles did too. The rest took the motor bikes. I jerked the reigns and took off. The three of us got a head start.

The journey to Lone Keep was mainly forest until we hit the desert. "Slow down girl" I yelled tightening the reigns. I could see the smoke in the distance. I looked back and saw the motorbikes coming. There was a wave of magic that knocked us all back. I fell off my horse as she got spooked.
