"Why would someone from the house call Cassidy?"

T-Boy, Shane, Byron and I stood in a circle. The dynamics of the secret

letter began to unfold right in front of me and the weight of T-Boy's

question began to grow heavy.

T-Boy looked over at Shane and he didn't say anything. Then T-Boy looked

over at Byron. He didn't say anything either. The two just stood there

and shrugged. Then I saw T-Boy's eyes looking over at me as though

expecting me to know what the hell this was all about.

"Why the hell are you looking at me?" I asked, a little defensive at his

quick allegation, "Why would I send myself a love letter?"

"Well somebody here is lying," T-Boy whined.

"It could have been a mistake T-Boy," I explained, "Maybe someone called by

accident. I doubt any one of us have anything to do with the letter."

At least I hoped. I couldn't really tell. I looked at T-Boy. I looked at

Shane and Byron. I was completely lost. I didn't have a thought in my

head about who could be writing the letter and why T-Boy said someone from

the house called Cassidy earlier. I pulled out the note and began to read

it.

HELLO. I KNOW THAT I HAVEN'T BEEN TOO UPFRONT

WITH YOU ABOUT MY FEELINGS. I KNOW THAT I AM

ACTING REALLY WEIRD WITH THESE LETTERS. I

SHOULDN'T. I SHOULD COME OUT AND TELL YOU HOW

I REALLY FEEL ABOUT YOU. I WILL BE ABLE TO SEE

YOU TONIGHT, EVEN THOUGH YOU WON'T SEE ME.

I'LL BE AT THE TALENT SHOW. I'LL BE THINKING OF YOU.

"What does it say?" Shane asked.

I looked over at T-Boy. He would be so pissed about it. I didn't want

to tell him. It wasn't really any of their businesses anyway. The letter

was written to me. I didn't understand how quickly this had become a case

to be solved by Sherlock Holmes (T-Boy) and Co.

I gave him a hard stare because he didn't understand that he was way out

of place. He probably thought this was some hot scene from his favorite

teen movie. It wasn't this shit was weird. It was innocent. I mean, it

seemed like this was just someone who didn't know how to express their

feelings, but it also seemed like it was hurting T- Boy a lot. If the

person knew I was with T-Boy, why would they do this? Didn't they have

even a little respect for T-Boy's relationship with me?
