Chapter 9

Kelly was very quiet for the rest of the day. He told Casey he was going back to there's. Casey check if he was okay he said he was. Kelly got back to Casey's place and sat on the couch. For some reason he couldn't get the boy or his mothers out of his head. He was frustrated aswell he never like to ask anybody who she was also nothing was coming back to him. He was feeling lost.

Stella got the twins back home and play with the Charlie  for abit  and put Abby to bed as she was ill and left them to Charlie to play on his own. She made herself coffee. Seeing Kelly playing with there boy it made heremotional she never thought she see the day that she see there father play with there boy. She never knew what to say to him it was like she too scare to. But seeing Kelly again made her love him even more.

It was Stella first day at the firehouse she was happy to be back. She missed 51 and being on truck but she was happy just working with Connie. Stella day was going fine all the fire trucks  was out. She went to make herself a cup of coffee and she saw Kelly walking in the corridors looking lost so Stella ask 'hi Kelly you okay you looking kind of lost?' Oh hey I'm just looking for Casey' ' oh he just out on an called so you want to grab a coffee while we wait' yes I will have a coffee' Stella and kelly went to get an coffee and sat at the table talking 'sorry I never caught your name' 'oh sorry my name is Stella' 'pleased to meet you did we knew eachother before that how you knew my name?' Yes i knew you before we use to work together well I used to be on truck and you used to be on squad' 'oh how come you not on truck?' 'I had twins so decided to give it up' 'oh yes you the mother of the kid I was playing with the other day' 'Charlie' 'yes that his name he an smashing kid you brought him up well' 'thank you' just then they stared at each other and got lost in each other eyes. Then truck came in and interrupted then. Stella quickly got up and went  back to the office.

Stella kept herself busy for the rest of the day as she was leaving she notice Kelly standing waiting so she ask him if he was okay he said his taxi hasn't turn up. So Stella offer to give him a lift to Casey. On the drive to Casey's Kelly and Stella started joking around with each other  Kelly teasing her about her music choices. They got to Casey's and Kelly said thanks for the lift and Stella said anytime.

Stella went to pick the kids up from daycare to be told they weren't there and Tyler pick them up. Stella couldn't believe it and scream at them for letting Tyler take them. She rush home to find the twins there and Tyler cooking in the kitchen. She quickly sent an text to jay. She then walked in and asked 'Tyler what the hell you doing here you not suppose to be here?' 'I know babe I'm sorry I want to make it up to you if you let me' 'get out of my house' 'Stella you don't mean that look I brought the twins some new toys now let me make it up to you babe' 'I'm not your babe and you can have you presents back' stella took the presents  off the twins and sent them to there room and it back to Tyler and him to leave now. Just then Brett came in with jay and Atwater and they arrested Tyler again. Tyler was begging Stella to drop the charges but when he saw Stella wasn't changing her mind he started calling her names.

Brett ask if Stella was okay she said she was fine and then she call the twins out of there room. They ask where Tyler is and can they have there new toys back when Stella told them they not getting the toys back and told them Tyler is gone he won't be seeing him again Charlie and Abby both told Stella they hated her and she the worse mother in the worldand storm off into there rooms. This had Stella in tears.

The next morning Casey was making everyone breakfast and Gabby was on the phone to Brett and Kelly was waiting and listening in on Gabby's conversation. When he heard Stella name being mention he couldn't help it. When Gabby finish she went to say something quietly to Casey but then Kelly ask them who this Tyler is he something to do with Stella? Matt and Gabby look at each other they never knew how to answer  and just a bloke that Stella been having trouble with and then Kelly said he stella ex Charlie told me he hurt her and he not around is he giving her more trouble  Gabby told him he could say that but he been arrested so hopefully that the end of it.

It kept playing on kelly mind he couldn't understand it but he felt a need to protect Stella and a need to help her. He felt awkward asking as it would raise questions he didn't want to answer so while Gabby and matt wasn't in the room he look through there address book and found Stella's address and took a note of it and left Gabby and matts apartment.
