(Winston's POV)
It was a glorious morning the moment my lips hit a mean cup of coffee with vanilla creamer. I anticipated to take a walk in the city and then relax back here in my home in silence. The case was still in the back of my mind. Mostly over the fact that the Faunheissers didn't have the VIS look into the Breakout. I walked over to my television and turned it on. After sitting down in my easy chair, I grabbed the remote and began clicking through channels. A news report of Interbreeds going missing throughout Valkaya was playing.

"Local authorities within the Eastern Precinct have been experiencing some Interbreeds disappearing. Families are abandoned as wives and husbands are in distress over what could have happened to them. If you see any suspicious activity within your local area having to do with any of the Interbreeds please contact your Precinct Police Department." she said. "This is Melissa Bonnet taking back to headquarters."

Every other word that was said I ignored. I sighed as I took another sip at my coffee.
Interbreeds going missing in the East Precinct?
Something wasn't right about this. Someone was targeting these Interbreeds. Again though the Apex Interbreeds could be recruiting Interbreeds of Valkaya to their cause. But even that theory was preposterous, anyone who wished to assist the Apex Interbreeds would have to go through the Wastelands in order to get to them. Whatever it was I could only brief Geralt on how this could connect to our case when we both met up at the office again on Monday. In the midst of my thoughts, a knock sounded at my door.

Who the hell could that be?

I got up and went to open the door to see a short woman with long black hair.
"Sir...um... I heard that you were an excellent detective." the woman began shyly.
"Yes, how can I help you?" I asked her.
"I'm from the Eastern Precinct and I've also lost a loved one. My husband disappeared two days ago. His name is Litham and he is a Felinian..."
"Before you continue, I will need your name." I told her.
     "Bethel Ophilothal."
That last name was going to be the death of me.
     "Mrs.... ehhh."
"Just call me Bethal." she said with a empathetic smile.
"Bethal, the local authorities are working on the case aren't they?" I asked her still a little confused on why she would come all the way here for me to help her.
"No, detective they are not working on the case. They claim they are "too busy" catching Apex Interbreed supporters." she said sighing and rolling her eyes.
That was the biggest bullshit I've ever heard. Even if there were supporters there would have been a few and they would have went straight for the Wastelands. Now this we could look into.
"You got my attention." I said. "Do you remember where he was going before you left?"
I asked her.
"He was heading to work at the Moonlight Restaurant near the Purple Den." she said.
"Does your husband local that strip club often?" I asked her.
"Not that I know of." she shook her head. "I feel like he wouldn't though. Sure he's a horny husband but he is shy around others."
"How enlightening." I said sarcastically.
"You think you can help me detective?" she clasped her hands and begged.
"Yes Bethel, I and my associate will tackle your case." I told her. A big smile went over her face.
      "Really?"
"Yes." I told her. "In fact I'll call him right after we are done." I told her.
"If you find him, here is my number." she said handing me a small piece of paper.
"Absolutely, I'll give you a call when I find him." I told her taking the paper.
We said our goodbyes and she left. I got out my phone and called Geralt. It took a moment but he answered the phone with a yawn.
"Yeah boss?" he said sluggishly.
"Morning, I have another case for you to work on." I said.
"Another case...?" he asked waking up a little more.
"Yeah and I think it may have a connection with the Faunheissers' case." I told him. "We got Interbreeds going missing in the Eastern Precinct."
     "Really?"
"It was on the news this morning." I told him.
"I was obeying your orders and enjoying the weekend." he told me.
"Well it looks like we have a Felinian to find. A woman came to my home all the way from the East Precinct just to speak to me about her husband being missing." I informed him.
"Let me guess. You want me to look for him?" Geralt asked.
     "Precisely..." I told him.
"I can go ahead and get started. She gave you good places to look or places to get information?"
"She did." I replied. "Moonlight Restaurant near the Purple Den. If you are going to work, I'm going to visit the Faunheisser sisters again and talk to them about some... special business."
     "Yes sir, good luck."
"Same to you, son." I told him.

There was no rest for the weary.
