'What's a name?'

ETHANS POV

4 months that's how long it's been since we figured out Jordan was pregnant and told her parents to be honest her mom and Natalie were excited but her father he was not the least bit supportive which is not surprising by what she told me he was never a good father I didn't want to tell my parents because I know exactly what they would tell us to do abort it so I did t want Jordan to go through that and when we found out she was already 1 month in so she's 5 months now and he baby bump is something I'll never get tired of

"Ethan." Her voice snapped me out of it and I looked over at her in the doorway all ready to go to her appointment so we could figure out the gender of our baby

"Are you ready?" She asked annoyed I chuckled and walked up to her wrapping my arms around her waist

"Yes I am so are we ready to go?" She nodded her head

"I'm getting tired of carrying this watermelon of yours." She sarcastically snapped back

"Only 4 more months." I said while putting my hands around the bump

"That's too long." She sighed but then she looked at her phone and widened her eyes she slapped my arm

"We got to get going or we'll be late." She said and stormed off and I followed her to the car and I drive the car off

"Good to see you again Mrs. Connor!" The OB greeted Jordan then me

"Are you guys ready to find out the gender today?" She asked us

"I've been waiting since our first appointment." The OB laughed as Jordan payed back and the OB put the gel on her stomach

"Okay let's see here." The OB muttered and we both looked at the monitor seeing how big our baby have gotten over the months

"Congratulations it looks like you're having a..."

"Baby Boy!!!!" She finally let out and I couldn't be happier I never cared about the gender of the baby because I would love it anyway but I'm having a son a son that I could life advice to and play catch with him

"Ethan." Her voice cuts off my train of thought and I looked down at her beautiful face

"We're having a boy!!" She said excitedly with tears rolling down her face

I wiped them away and kissed her so filled with joy

"A boy"

JORDAN'S POV

After we got back from the appointment and I was still so happy with the news I had a feeling that it was a boy and I always wanted a son all my life I sat down on the couch look at my sonogram

"I'll make us food okay." Ethan shouted and I told him okay when I first found out I was scared to death and I'm still am because I'm scared of the pain of birth but also if I will be a good parent I walked to the kitchen to where Ethan was and sat down at the island looking at him admiring how he's my husband I couldn't wait until our baby is here

"What's a name?" I asked him and he looked at me leaning against the counter

"For him?" He asked back and I nodded

"We haven't thought of names yet and now we know he's a boy so it's a good time to pick a name." I told him and he though for a second then spoke

"How bout Jacob?" He suggested and for the first try I really loved the name

"I actually love that name." He looked at me bewildered expecting me to hate the name

"I can imagine in it Jacob Connor." I teasingly said lifting my eyebrow testing him

"I love it." He said as he turned back to the food and we silently agree that our baby is Jacob Connor.
